October 20, 2011 - No one spoke

Just got a call on my cell phone from some guy saying my number won in a drawing for some business expanding in my area. He first asked for the manager (hint looking for a business), then for someone I've never heard of. Kept rambling on about prizes and refused to answer my questions. Kept mentioned expanding in my area, I asked what area, slight pause for hit o look at screen/call log and mentioned a state that I am not in.  My cell phone maybe from there but it does not mean I am there.  Told him to f off

called my home phone...when I answered they did not respond and hung up shortly thereafter.

Called and left no message. Must be telemarketers.

Got a call saying I won something for my business.  Don't have a business and they were calling my cell phone wasting my cell minutes

Just received a phone call from these people a few minutes ago.  The lady on the other end first asked to speak with my bosses.  After I told her that both of them were absent she proceeded to tell me how it would be okay for me to answer three (3) questions because our company won some type of drawing for a scratch off.  $2500, a flat screen TV, and some type of SUV were all examples of the prizes that could be won.  I actually took the time to answer her three questions:

1. Do you work part-time or full-time?
2. What is your name?
3. What is your income level before taxes and combined with your spouse? (multiple choice A, B, or C)

She then asked if the company phone number was a good number to reach me at and I gave her my cell phone number.  What in the world have I gotten myself into?  I should have just hung up the phone from the beginning.  Oh well... I still know the number so I can just hang up next time or refuse to answer.

I got same call as above.  Answered the three questions (never said with correct info)& lo and behold, I qualified for a scratch off. Yeah me!

She then told me that a company representative would deliver the scratch off and give me a short 20.minute presentation about the company. In person Next week & she wanted to know what time on the 29th of Nov would work best for me.

I countered with just mail me the scratch off, and if i win, I might consent to meeting with someone if they flew me out to Arizona for a bowl game and put me up in a suite for the weekend on the company dime.

that confused her.

She then asked again what the would work best for me to have someone deliver the scratch off. I said if someone showed up at my property, I would have them  arrested for trespass.

I then advised her to tell that person to look up the Texas Castle laws :)

I bet I don't get a visit :)

Got a missed call on my cell phone, showed unknown caller, no message was left

I didn't answer, and they hung up after four rings.

scammers....called my ofc for several months, never left a message.  called them from a blind line and found out they sell insurance and retirement products.  company is called federal financial group.

The caller said that:
Someone will be in my area next week and I will get a winning scratch ticket. The guy sounded like he was from India. I wonder if he even knows where Massachusetts is?
So I said that I had a gambling problerm and my new years resolution was not to scratch any more tickets on any kind.
What could he say after that?
He said thank you and hung up.

I answered and they hung up so I called the number back and i got a message saying I had reach federal financial group recruiting department. No clue who they are

I could look up 801-990-8571 here on whocallsme before picking up.
It looks like others got nailed, but hopefully, fewer and fewer will get their time wasted.

I received a phone call from this number on my cell and on my wifes busness phone. when answering I get no answer. Individual disconnects call

Call this company and tell them one of their customers is calling you none stop!  This is the company and their number!  Get on the Federal Do Not Call List

Caller is Federal Financial - Telemarketer representing several companies. Usually they call & do not leave a message. When I called the number back, I got an automated system telling me to leave my name & number. I dialed "0" on the chance I would get an operator. Lo & behold I got a real person and  told them to remove our number from their call list immediately. The lady I spoke to said she would take care of it. We shall see!

The Federal Do Not Call list will not stop these [***].  They have called me on my cell phone at least a dozen times.  I immediately ask who is calling and what is their business; at which time they go into their spiel about the scratch-off lottery.  I immediately tell them that they are calling a # on the Federal Do-Not-Call list, I am not interested in anything they have to offer and that they are to never call my number again.  

I just received another call from a truly arrogant woman (with an accent) when I stated I was tired of their ongoing scam calls; she had the nerve to say ..." oh, you're running a scam, I'll have to report you to the police immediately."  

I've reported the number to the Do-Not-Call list complaint site; but if they are calling this many people and it doesn't end; I can only guess that the FCC is too busy thinking of ways to make things more difficult for people; rather than doing something productive like shutting this and similar companies down.

Saw the number come across, did not recognize it, so did not answer.  No message.  Really appreciate those taking time to put info on this post.  Very helpful.
