Someone asking about the maintenance plan on my Windows computer. Come on!

Some man with a East Indian accent stated that he wanted to talk to me about my Windows based computer. When I told him that I didn't have any window based computer, he hung up.    WTF

Caller ID stated it was from Test Code, VT...........NO SUCH PLACE...................WTF

TO MANY CRIMINALS IN THE COMPUTER WORLD

This number calls often. When you ask company name they hang up.  Man has middle eastern accent.  If you get angry he tells you he loves it.

A man with a thick accent claiming there is a problems with Windows on my computer that will cause me to get hacked.  He wanted me to sign on to my computer so he could 'fix' the problem.  He got very angry when I told him that I did not believe him and thought he was going to try to hack my computer, said I was wasting his time.  Smells like a scam to me.

I got the same call, three times.

Received a call from someone stating to be windows representative.  I told him I would report this.

Same as other people mentioned. Man with heavy Indian accent asking about my windows computer. Knew my wife's name. Called him an idiot and hung up. Scam or unscrupulous people.

Calls multiple times daily for the past week; we don't answer, they don't leave a message. They called tonight at 9:04 pm, while the rest of my house hold was asleep. Why do they keep calling??

Got 3 calls in one day, one at 9:30 PM.  I don't pick up and so far, they haven't given up.....

I got this call for the first time last night at 930 PM.

I guess the other number that speaks about your computer being compromised  855-496-4285 added a new number.  BTW 2 hrs earlier I got the 855-496-4285 call which I also didn't answer.

They haved called several times. He has India accent. He says he is from Microsoft Windows and my computer is downloading Virus's. He wants me to sign on to computer. He gave me a name of Sam Eddy, said he was in Phoneix, Az. He gave me a # of 347801269. Sounds like a scam to me. The # on my ID caller is 802-201-5896. I hung up on him.

9:30 pm call from this number. Said he was from Windows tech support and my Windows computer had a virus.

802-201-5896 called and did not speak. They hung up when I answered. So I blocked them. I also blocked 201-312-6386,914-265-1199 and 914-2655728. 914 area code was a fishing scam to get money with some kind of case number and that I supposedly was in great trouble if I do not call back. I talked with my lawyer and gave him copies of the messages they left . He sated these are scams usually started in Nigeria or other 3 world countries. IRS will always contact by mail and so will Microsoft. They will never cold call . because they would already have your information in their files because you purchased the product. IRS will not ask for information over the phone. They have to do it by post as is the law. IRS has all our info and would never ask for it over the phone that would land them in hot water , because of   privacy laws. I suggest you block and hang up. By law any salespeople cannot call in all states after 9 pm and they have to give you address and phone number that you can verify. there name cant be blocked and they have to be reachable. So if some detective calls you with an accent and an American name like Smith or so on. They are after your money they will bleed you dry and run off with your money. They scare you into paying. Unfortunately most people do not recover their funds. They leave threats on your machine sometimes they even know your name and the only reason you know its your name because no body from US would miss pronounce it so bad. In conclusion these are all scams and you are not in trouble and hopefully they will be caught one day. I am sorry we all have to suffer from this, but again hang up block number and do not worry. All legitimate companies do it by post. I suggest you do not answer numbers you do not know. It irritates the Scammers and they leave a message , which you save just in case. No calling Back. After you save the message you block them and the call back numb.er they leave. Save the evidence for later you never know you might be able to use it

Next time they call let them leave a message and save it. I most cellphones you have a block number feature . Use that to block the number they called from and the number they will leave you to call back to. Do not talk to them just save the evidence and block. So sorry for your bad experience I get them calling me too. From fake IRS to Window Tech. These are Scams to get your credit info your money and to ruin your life the reason they call is, because the info they have is either very, very, very, limited or they don't have any , and they need it to rip you off. Sorry this is 21 st century.

This is a fishing scam. The number to call back is (347)227-6900. I call them several times a day now just to see if they are able to fix the Windows virus. I may be wrong, but it seems that they are getting annoyed with my calls. (347)227--6900

This number has called my office 3 times, they call, I answer with the company name and they go "who" and hang up.  I'm very irritated.  Same as other comments the person always has a thick accent.

Just got a call while I was driving and guy with India accent, tells me turn on your computer,I'm calling from Microsoft Windows, we got information your computer got hacked, I told him I'm in the middle of traffic I can't when I asked him who are you looking for he informed me the got message of my computer hacked I told him call me in an hour , so I called my son asked him was he having problems with the computer, he asked why I told him, he said "mom it's a scam, I've heard about these guys," so my son tells me when I get home let him answer phone and he's gonna mess with him, see how he likes his own medicine.

Man with thick accent. Number has called me 3 times today I finally blocked the number after the last call. He said he's calling about my windows computer. I told him he had the wrong number because I have a Mac. He said "oh Mac like apple? I have a banana with two cashews and lots of fur" and hung up. Who is this they need stopped!

Three calls in one day, answered the last call could not understand the guy, Somthing about my computer would not leave his server alone...

This guy is obviously really busy trying to scam people,  he keeps calling me to relentlessly, It's annoying,  I was scammed before, wish something could be done.
