- KellyI got a call from them saying I owed Sprint money from 2003. I do recall getting a letter once a few years ago, so I think they are a collection agency.

The company calls at any time, including at 5:30 am. They chase fraudulant and incorrect charges endlessly without regard for information provided and will not stop. I am amazed that there has not been legal action against them.- Caller: A&S Collections Associates Inc.
- l.a. sing.A man named John Lebeck has been calling me, hassling me and threatening me. I am a woman who lives alone....his threats are frightening.
I called him the first time to ask him to leave me alone....He hung up on me. I called a second time, told him I would come to A/S if needed so I could explain to him (I am only 5'4") why his harassment is so upsetting. I do not know what to do. Because of this man and this harassment I am frightened in my own home- Caller: A S collection

- Lied To| 1 replyThis is a collection agency and I know who is calling from this number. She called me four months ago about a debt in my name. I did owe it because of hard financial times in my family. I made a deal to settle in full and she agreed. She took $900 from my 72 yr-old mother to help me because my family was moving. Then she renegged on the deal afterwards. She continues to called and harass my family and me. If anyone from this number wants to make a deal with you -- DO NOT TAKE IT THEY ARE LYING AND WILL CONTINUE TO MAKE YOU LIFE HELL!!! She will call three or four times a day. Sometimes she will call back to back. She will also tell you that other people from the company who may call you are liars. This is seems like a real upstanding, ethical company doesn't it.

- Mary ApplingI made the mistake of trying to do business with company. I had an outstanding debt for my funeral home. I called and spoke with a girl and explained it was not actually the family not paying it was an insurance company not wanting to pay an assignment to the funeral home. During our conversation I gave her too much information. She told me to go ahead and sign up and if the insurance paid I could just cancel. Before I even sent the completed information back to her the insurance comapny paid me. Now two years later they are still calling the family harrassing them for payment. When I call A & S I am told they can harrass the family until I pay the cancelation.
- goodmetasynThe owner of A&S Collections was arrested in Williamstown, Vermont in March 2008 for cocaine, marijuana and gun charges. Arizona court case #09F-BD005-BNK revoked their collection agency license. So you see these are just all around good people.

- Luke ApplingA&S Collections Associates is a bucket shop. If you have a problem with them, file a civil lawsuit in state or federal court. You don't need an attorney, you can do it yourself. Under the Federal Debt Collections Practices Act, you can sue them for up to $1000, plus attorney's fees if you can find an attorney to take your case. A&S Assoc uses tactics such as harrassment and repeated phone calls to get the consumer to pay. These tactics are successful, but you can fight back. Put the ball in their court, and watch them squirm. Good luck.

- birddog| 4 repliesA& S Collections is a legalized mafia. Back in the 1990's Ronald Saldi, Sr. ran International Collections and was shut down by the Attorney General because of fraudulent business practices. He turned the business over to his cocaine, marijuana and gun selling son, Ronald Saldi, Sr. Who was ordered out of the business in 2008 for fraudulent business practices. Which is the least of his worries right now. He was arrested in 2008 by federal agents for selling cocaine, marijuana and guns. While out on bond awaiting trial he was arrested again in March 2009 for the exact same thing. He has turned the business over to his daughter, Nicole, who has not fallen very far from the tree. A&S Collections is under investigation by every government agency that can investigate them. Their collection agency licenses have been revoked by numerous states. They may not even have a license to be doing business. If you have a problem with them please write: Mr. Elliot Burg, State of Vermont Office of the Attorney General, 103 B Morrill Hall-UVM, Burlington, VT 05405.

- Laughing replies to Lied ToI would bet money that you made the pay off deal verbaly over the phone, no written contract !
Assuming this, you deserve what you get from them. Anytime you deal with anyone in todays world you get the deal in writing !
When you send them anything by mail, send it return receipt requested.
Faxing something, e-mailing it, etc. does not stand up in court !
Lived and learn ! - Debra Weis replies to AnnoyedI have an old bill that is about 6 years old now. It has been written off. I just started recieving calls from A&S They keep telling me to pay my bill. If it has been written off then that means they want the money for themselves. I am on permanent dissability and have very little to live on. I have this go phone that I keep enought mins on to keep in touch with my son in the Navy. I am going to get in touch with my dissability laywer and see if she can get these calls stopped. This is rediculous. I fight depression as it is without this crap.
