Just got this call on my work phone and they said they were from Warranty Exchange USA and called to tell me my warranty had expired for my car.  I drive a 2011 Honda CR-V and I felt like something was fishy with the girl asking me what kind of car I drove after telling me my warranty had expired so I told her I drive a 2010 Toyota Camry and they were trying to tell me the "information" they had in THEIR systems said my 2010 Toyota Camry was no longer under factory warranty and I should buy an extended warranty from them to keep my car covered. I asked them how they even knew what car I drove or anything and they said it was because Toyota let them know my warranty was expiring.  And after I said not interested the guy I was transferred to was rude and told me I would NEVER be able to call back and get the same deal because the call was being recorded saying that I refused to take the original deal.   SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

Yup, I got the call too, with the same warranty crap. BEWARE folk.

They just called my cell phone number.  It was a voice recording saying that my warranty on my car is expiring and that this is was their second attempt to call me (no it wasn't).  Then they gave me the option to speak to a representative but I just hung up.

My cell phone number is on the "DO NOT CALL" registry but I'm at work and don't have the time to yell at them.

I know it's a scam because I have a leased vehicle under a factory warranty for the term of the lease.

wondering if any of you use craigslist?  I got the call also and only use that number for craigslist ads. probably someone on there is using numbers for spam

I received a call from this number telling me my auto warranty is about to expire. Well, considering I have no warranty because I drive a 1988 Chevy S-10, I told them I wasn't interested and hung up... SCAM!

Got  a call that never left a message. If it was the above that would be interesting both my cars are used and are from the 1990's. For one I'm the 3rd owner. time to turn these people in to the FBI.

Yep i got the same call, funny thing is that i drive a 1993 Honda, i knew right away it was a scam! Never give any info to someone over the phone unless you requested a service.

Got a call at 1:44pm.   called number back and said press 1 to be removed from do not call list.

I got this call after giving my number to experian. It's an insurance scam. This is my google number and only given out about twice a year.

Got a phone call and sent it to voice mail . . . .  no message received

This is obviously a scam.  I own no car, yet these hucksters called & left unwanted voice mail.  I think they are using CreepsList i.e. CraigsList to get numbers from people who unwittingly send resume for job to a deceptive advert.

I got the same call but have never even looked at Craigslist. I think they are just using some listing they bought.

Received call, didn't answer, no message.

Since I haven't given my personal number out to any but basic essential business or personal connections I didn't answer and no message was left.  Other posts indicated that was the best approach.
