They just called my house phone and I was on the other line so I didn't answer, but they left no message. Just got on here to find out who this was. We just got this phone number 2 wks ago and keep getting collection calls for the people that had it before us. Sooooo frustrating! I can only imagine it's probably another collector.

The number does come up on my caller ID as a cell phone in South Carolina though. Weird.

it is a computer type call.  It says it is the census buerau and they want to know if you are a diabetic or have a friend who is and this could help with your insurance.  You should press 1 or 2.  I called the census buerau and they know nothing of this.  So it must be another scam.

ha...just got a call from this number too. I called it back and it says. voicemsg is full and can't leave a msg. It seems as if it's a cell. I am in California. Don't know anyone in South Carolina.

I recieved a call from this number also this morning around 10 am. My first thought was that it was my husband who is at FT. Jackson SC for Army Boot camp

Someone called me from this num on my phone I did not answer it..so I called it bk and sd mailbox is full..it is probably the people that have been calling me..which are scammers..if it's a business, how is the mailbox full? I put it on the reject list!

Having worked survey and telemarketting jobs, you don't get to call people from your own phones - at all. Ever.

DO NOT BE STUPID - DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR INFORMATION. And if you do speak to them, tell them to quit calling my house.

got a call on my cell phone which not many people have my cell number...they didnt leave a message..called several times now from this number but never leave a message as to who or why they are calling ...do not want them calling my cell anymore...

I pressed 1 to find out who this was so as to file a complaint with the Indiana Atty. General.  When I asked where they were, a woman replied with a question about diabetes.  When I repeated my request, I stated I was tracing the call and she hung up.

I will file a complaint for this as a call from an unsolicited telemarketer.  Indiana is rather tough on this kind of unwelcome behavior with fines as much as $100,000 per incident.

You do not have to be on the Do Not Call Registry to report it since it is a computer calling you. The more people that report it, the better chance of them getting in trouble.

The Census Bureau is for data collection only.  If they are claiming to help with costs on anything it is a scam for sure.
