Yet another call today ... Hangs up before answering!

Been getting calls from this number over and over for the past 2 weeks.  They never leave a message so I finally picked up and it was a foreign accent wanting to fix my computer.  I lied and told them I did not own a computer and to stop calling me, they kept talking and I just hung up.   The number is from a home in Columbia, SC.   No calls so far today so we'll see what happens.  Next time they call, I'll tell them I'm reporting them to the FCC.......   They just want you to give them access to your computer so they call steal all your info......

Have been receiving calls from this # and no one ever on it, can't someone do something about this scammers to stop all of this!!!!

Received 2 calls back to back with no voicemail. When I call back, it says the number has been changed.

So far, I have had three calls from this number. I have BlockedEm.

called me on cell phone. Did not answer. I later called back and it was no longer in service, so although the number appears on caller ID as 803 605 0857, in reality it is a fake number to mask the actual number. I wish I knew how to block the actual (unknown) number.

Repeated calls from this number, but they always hung up without leaving a message.  I finally answered it last week, and it was a foreign voice offering computer support.  I told them that my computer was broken, and they asked if anyone else in the house had a computer.  I said "No, Sorry", and they hung up.  Now they are calling today, likely with a new angle, but I'm not picking up.

I got an automated call saying I won a cruise to the Bahamas. Total scam. Blocked the number.

they called me today at work so I called the number back and I got a recording from Verizon saying the number is no longer in service !

Received numerous calls on my home phone.  If I picked up and spoke, automat started into a "because of your qualifications, you have won.....  that's as far as I listened.  Today got a call from the same number on my cell, and I answered before I looked at the number.  "Voice said, can you hear me okay?  This is Tim..."  I started firmly stating that this was my private cell phone and that I had asked them to stop calling, and then realized Tim was an automat as well.

No end to these nuisance calls!!!!  Hung up on call!!!!  We do not answer any call not recognized!!!!

I just got a call from this number.  I didn't recognize it, so I didn't answer.  No voice mail message left.  I called the number and the recording said it was disconnected or no longer in service.

Called. no messages.

Called me, left no message.

Have gotten calls from this number once or twice a week for several months now. Phone only usually rings a couple of times before stopping and every time I've tried to call it back I just get that Verizon message that another person mentioned.

After seeing the comments here, blocking it seems like the ideal solution. I suggest others do the same.
