It's one of the phone numbers used by a collector, Suntrust Mortgage.

This idiot called my cell phone and left a very broken message, impossible to understand.  Rest assured, he won't get a call back!!!

Received this call two days in a row on my cell.  Left me a message saying the call was very important.  If this is from a mortgage company, they are out of luck.  I don't even own a home!!!

This number called me this morning at 816am EST I didn't pick up cause I only answer calls past 10am, but I found it strange because it might be Suntrust bank but im not sure.

Got a call from this number yesterday. I was not home but it was on my caller-id. I don't have a Suntrust loan nor have I ever had one so I have no idea why they would start calling me. In any case, I have blocked them from calling in the future. Avbove some said, SCUM TRUST - Thats funny, I like it!

This is the number to their REO department

They call my office repeatedly.  We don't have any dealings with Suntrust or its REO department.  They left no message.

someone keeps calling me from this number, and I keep telling them that they have a wrong number, but they keep calling me back!!!! they also call from a toll free number, and ask for the same person. they harrass me day and night.STOP

got a call from this number today at 2:22PM Eastern. Did not leave a message. Number shows up as Richmond, VA. SCUM is right on.

It was SunTrust calling about a mortgage loan modification.

I get this call every once in awhile - it is a scam. - I thought I had blocked it from my cell, but got another 2 calls in a row. -  Eric Left a message saying it was Suntrust and they watned to refinance for nothing, Now Why On Earth would someone refinance an already existing  loan for less and no charge?

A "Mr. Mead" keeps calling us to talk about "an arrangement" or our "home equity line" with SunTrust. At one point he asked for the last four digits of my SSN. We don't have any loans with SunTrust, so we immediately suspected a scam. When we contacted the local branch, we were told that SunTrust has no office with this number. Further, we were told that no Mr.Mead shows up in their employee database and that there is no reason for anyone at SunTrust to contact us.

I got a call from 804 291 0001 two days in a row. Call came on my cell phone. I didn't answer. He said was from SunTrust Bank's loss prevention department. Wanted to offer me some options on my home equity line. He assured me it's not a collection call or a telemarketing call. Offering reduced payments AND reduced interest rate. Sounds too good to be true. Maybe it's a SCAM.

I received a call from this number on my work cell phone.  The person wanted to speak to someone named Matt.  I stated that this was a work cell phone and that he had the wrong number.  I received a second call (that I thankfully missed) just eight minutes later.  Not sure what the caller was looking for.  Really weird.

Totally a scam. Don't tell them anything. They are not from Suntrust. If they were, they would give YOU information. When you ask who they are, their name, or any other information, they hang up. Suntrust Bank would not do this. I am not sure how they are able to reflect being Suntrust Bank in my caller id? anyone know? My guess is that if Suntrust knew about this ( and I plan to tell them) they would be investigating. I am so sick and tired of this world. I trust no one. There is more white collar crime than there is any other. disgusting.

They are from SunTrust. The number belongs to our office, I work there.

Not a scam at all, it is Suntrust. They call me for my client who's house is in foreclosure and they are REALLY trying to help them stay in the house. I dont know who you idiots can say its a scam....

Yes but this violated the FTC even after getting cease calling letter certified. Nasty place nasty people.

This is absolutely SunTrust. My client has a loan with them and this is the number of the loss mitigation department.we are currently negotiating a short sale on my client's mortgage so that is why they called. That being said they are a horrible company.we have the property sold at current market value but these crooks want 30k more than the home is worth.
