got another call from 804-371-9211 they never leave a message tired of these calls.

i looked it up and states it is a fax number for Virginia SCC divsion of Information Resources. Could someone be diailing the wrong fax number??

I just called SCC and 804-371-9211 is a fax line for a Virginia government agency.  The calls you are receiving are falsified or "spoofed" with fake caller-ID information.  They are fishing to see if you are a target.  They are faking the SCC to looks legitimate.  The SCC has nothing to do with the calls and have permanently shut down the fax line.

Your best bet: do not answer the phone for these calls - they are toxic.  The problem has been reported to the F.C.C. the F.B.I.  The scammers will soon be quietly prosecuted.

Just got a call and I answered and I didn't say a word waiting very quietly for someone on the other end to say something and they said nothing and hung up after 27 seconds of silence... Usually when I do answer like this to unknown numbers someone on the other line says something like "hello"... Then I say "ya I don't recognize your voice and I don't know you." Please don't call again". It makes me frustrated when an unknown caller calls me and doesn't say a word. I refuse to call these unknown numbers back because I don't want them to have my caller ID info.
