Got a text saying Va Best Buy shopper...I won $1000 gift card and gave website http://besybuyrwdz.com/?212 and enter code.    I havent shopped at Best Buy or entered any contest with them.

I shop at Best Buy but entered no contest. Replying just leads to giving more and more info and ends with saying you have to buy something.

I got the same message saying it is from Best Buy.  I have not shopped
at there for 8+ years!!!!!

I received a text from them saying congratulations bestbuy shoppers you have won a Best Buy gift card and I never shop there

This is probably the 3rd time in a year i have recieved the 1000 giftcard message. Yes of course its a scam. If you any of you own Norton Internet security there is a useful tool that you can go to under the web tab upon opening the norton program and it has a url website checker for all of you curious to see where that goes try it on there first before going on the web. Upon doing a little research some users i have read have had good luck with texting "stop" by replying to the text. This is my first try so we will see how it goes. Also have read reports that its source is from Alltell. Atleast the number that mine came from was. The party responsible should have to payout a 1000 for false advertisments to everyone they text

I received a message that I won a Best Buy 1000 dollars prize, then you call the number and a
Nasty message appear there. Someone really bored.

I got the same text.  I am blocking that number on my cell phone account.

we got a tx message in the middle of the night!!  saying I won a Target gift card worth $1,000.   I never entered my name on any Target sweepstakes.  How do these scammers get cell phone numbers when I don't give it out to any businesses???
