A million other places, and the Fraternal Odor of Police here in VA.  I found out this morning when one called while I was blissfully dozing.  MPI is known in AZ to hire felons and under 18's for its call center.  This is likely the source of their high-quality brand of customer service.  They generally pay between $7-$9/hr. and you can apply in person!

A few years back, I had one tell me that if I didn't donate, he would send the cops around.  I cackled, and hung up.  When I saw they had recently said that to someone else, I figure this information should come to light.  Call them, let them know what you think of these practices, and the practice of "diverting" money destined for charities into their own pockets.

Called today - unknown.  I didn't answer.

Received a call from 804-415-4044. Thought it was for a job so I researched the number online and found this site. They didn't leave a message.

Got a call from this number, just now...the dinner hour. I answered "hello" and got a CLICK in my ear. Nothing infuriates me more!!!!!

I called the number from my cell phone to double check it.

2nd call in less than 12 hours. No message.

Keep receiving calls from this crowd early in the morning.  Called back and get a log speech about fund raising and if you want to be placed on an agencies do not call list that you must leave your number and the agencies name.

9AM call, no one on the other end.  Eventually hung up.

I got a call at 8:35 am on January 3rd from these people. I didn't answer since I didn't recognize the number. Boy, am I ever glad I didn't!

This number has called me every morning this week, today (the 11th) seems to be the earliest.  Will not answer now that I know but still want to chew someone out!

It's 8:35 pm and it claims to be a "local call."  How can it be a local call if I don't even have the same area code?  It's annoying, but I'm not picking up.  They can keep calling for all I care.

Yep, they called me also.  I just don't answer it.

Just because you are on the "DO NOT CALL" list, it does not stop solicitation/donations from any charitible organization.  They do not fall under the guidlines set for other soliciting calls.

8:00 am today Saturday!  They called three times yesterday, no answer, once I answered yesterday and it was a pitch for the FOP.  No reputable organization would call at 8:00 am in the morning.  Report these yahoos to the FTC!  I did.  Also Cox Communications allows you to block numbers and this one is now blocked.

Have avoided answering

Constantly being bothered by calls from this number.  How do I make it stop.  It should be my right to have included on  the do not call registry these organizations --  i do NOT want their bothersome calls.
