Yup called me at 11:10 PM LAST NIGHT, can't return call, always get a busy signal! Rachel from Credit Card Services.

Just received a call (at least it was during the day) from this number. I am on the Do Not Call list, but apparently that means nothing. When I did not answer, no message was left.

It is from Rachel at Cardholder Services. I have been called twice in 2 days from this disgusting company. The do not call list obviously doesn't work. It is truly disgusting since they are now calling my cell phone and I have limited minutes.

This number calls me at random times and never speaks.  I try to call the number back and it is always a busy signal.

I just received this call.  I did not answer because I "normally" do not answer calls from numbers I do not recognize or not expecting.  I am also on the, "do not call" list.  So much for that huh.  I am just glad I can just look it up later through social media like this.

"Rachel from Card holder services" calls from this number almost daily, every day for the past few years. They want to "lower the interest on our credit card". Occasionally I click through to talk to a live person and tell them that we have no credit cards, and request to please be removed from their database and receive no further calls. The rep hangs up before I complete my request and the next day they continue their daily calls. I almost (notice I said almost) want to laugh at these losers.

"Rachel" calling me back (after a long absence, was she arrested for fraud?) after assuring me, "...consider this your final notice..." and even after "Carmen" and "Brigit" told me recently that I didn't qualify for their "lower your rate" offer because I pay my credit cards off in full each month.

The recording of this "lower your rate" call is a recorded mix of past calls (notice in my transcript, below, where I point out different female voices in their recording) and of course this call is from a new number to avoid past call blocking. The recorded message is their usual patter (see below) followed by a 7 second pause, then they repeat the message and disconnect.

Their total disregard of the Do Not Call list certainly tells us a lot about their business ethics, doesn't it?

[female voice] Hello, this is Rachel at Cardholder Services calling in reference to your current credit card account. There are no problems currently with your account, it is urgent that you contact us concerning your eligibility for lowering your interest rate to as little as 6.9%. Your eligibility expires shortly so please consider this your final notice. [different voice] Press the number 1 on your telephone now [then another different voice] to speak with a live operator and lower your interest rate. Thank you."

[7 second pause, message repeats, then disconnect]

Called again today at 11:25 am (twice).  I did not answer because I did not recognize the number and no message left.  This is on my cell phone.  I, too, am on the DNC list.  Wish it worked.

THE GOOD NEWS: You can retaliate, reduce the misery, and even have some fun.

RETALIATE: Waste these turkeys' time. Keep them on the line by acting like an interested prospect. Give them bogus data, including a combination of two different credit card numbers, scrambled Social Security digits, and a modified ZIP Code. Important: provide a credit card company's real 800 number.

After they call the credit card company they will call you back and you can give them the same credit card info as before with two of the numbers transposed, thus causing them to make a second verification call. Or you can respond, "Guess what ... H-O-O-N-N-K-K [from a $6 air horn] you've been PRANKED! Call back tomorrow for more bullshot."

Now they're the butt of your joke. REDUCE THE MISERY:

Unfortunately, Card Services will keep calling from new spoofed numbers, which eventually should motivate you to retaliate.
