Could not understand, sounded like someone got our Social Security Number.

They said an arrest warrant has been issued for me.  From: 804-916-8700 U.S. Govt
CAll: 804-961-0015.

I got some similar ridiculous message.  vague info, stating problem with IRS.  Not sure how to report it

called 2 times. the 2nd time, the person left a garbled message that sounded like I had some tax problems and needed to call them back to clear it up somehow or face charges.

DO NOT FALL FOR THIS SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!! The caller with a thick foreign accent ("Kevin Miller") called twice posing as the 'IRS' demanding $ and stating the local police would be coming to our home in 2-3 hours. Then "Kevin" put his manager, "David Smith," on the phone and he eventually hung up on us when we pushed back.
A real tip off was the huge amount of backroom noise, similar to a pledge drive with many people talking at once.
When I initially called back, there was a taped recording stating that "the IRS was not taking any calls at this number."

Got the same call as those listed here. Something about an arrest warrant has been issues - if I want more data call?

Got the same call today, said my wife was going to jail for money laundering and tax evasion. Called my tax man and banker both said it is a "SCAM" don't fall for it.

I received 2 identical (recorded) garbled messages stating I was in trouble with the federal govt, relating to my bank and my social security number. SCAM.

Received a garbled message from someone claiming to have my SS# and that I was being arrested for some tax issue. Since I do not have a tax problem, I think that this is a scam!

Same IRS tax scam as reported by others.  Everyone should report it to IRS TIGTA unit at http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
