Asks for some person I don't know and says a lawsuit has been filed with three criminal charges. Will not stop calling even though I tell them they have the wrong number and to remove it from their lists. US number but always Indian accented voices.

It is not a debt collector, it is a guy trying to scam you out of money.

I got the same call.saying 3 people are trying to Sue me.and if I don't pay he's gonna send the police.I told h he keeps threatening me he's gonna hear from my states attorney's office for him harassing me

This scam involves PAYDAY LOANS, if you have filled out a online application for one they will have all of your personal information!, they do threaten and are very aggressive. I found excellent information on the CASH AMERICA website re this scam. They sound as if they are from India. Report them. I have two different people trying this. Stating they are from different companies.

Keep getting calls threating to show up at my place of work and pressing criminal charges

They keep calling me at work and now they just started using the fax machine to fax messages and they say that im going to get a seopeana for god knows what within 48 hours. Its really annoying, and I want them to stop calling and bugging. I have a payday loan maybe thats why after reading the post above.
