    An unwanted call from this Thousand Oaks cell number arrived today.  When the answering machine picked up, the caller left no message, just dead space.  Robocallers (unlawful telemarketers) do this all the time while trolling the phone lines seeking gullible schmucks to victimize.

    Some posters report this is a scam contractor, possibly masquerading as "Home Center."  No wonder the website www.whitepages.com describes this number as "scam or fraud."

    Received a call from 805-338-0990 @ 9:45 am and after 2 seconds of dead air, a man's voice came on asking "How many fuc$%^ing times are you going to say hello?" then hung up.  As mad as I want to get, I actually feel sorry for this guy.  Sitting in an office 8 hours a day, dialing numbers and dong stuff like this.  Imagine!?!?!  What a life...
