Got a message on my answering machine from someone who says they have a "free" emergency alert system, already been paid for, free shipment.  Just call to schedule delivery.  Sounds like a scam to me.  We didn't order one, no one would have sent us one for free.  I won't call back and if it comes to the door, I'll reject delivery.

Man claimed that a medical alert system has been paid for and awaiting shipment to me. When I asked if he was selling something, he said no, it was already paid for. When I asked who paid for it (we never ordered one), he just kept talking, following his script. I continued talking at the same time and he just kept talking right over me. When I stopped to listen to him, he tried to make it sound like it was an automated call, saying to press 1 to accept delivery or press 2 for something else. No one ships things for free, so it must be a scam.

We have received 2 calls from this number 805-570-6779 saying we ordered a Life Alert system. We did not order this and would like the calls to stop immediately.

Same thing happened to me just a couple of hours ago.  I hope Hell has a special place for these low-lifes.

Same experience.  "This is John from the Shipping Department of Emergency something-or-other" and doesn't stop talking even when I am talking --  so I finally hung up.  Can't tell if this is a machine or a real human.  Has called a few times, generally early evening.

Got the same "Medical Alert" call. The first part of the call is a pre-recorded message made to sound like a older guy reading a script. At the end there was no option to opt out of future calls, so I pressed '1' to be connected. When I told the guy that answered I wanted to be removed from their calling list he hung up on me.

Got a call from this number at 8:56 pm.  I actually waited to talk to one of their reps.  Said she worked for "Senior Assistance Program" and her name was Dee and her agent id was 8341. I told her that I didn't appreciate the phone call at this time of the evening and was going to report the call.   The origianl premise of the call was that i could get 3000 dollars worth of coupons and a free medic alert system that was already paid for.   Another scam outfit . this was the second call offering this stuff this week.  First one was a morning call

Got a call from this number about 7 p.m. local time.  Didn't leave a message on my answering machine.

How can we have them stop calling us.
If we need a medical alert system the retirement community will give it to us.
They ought to go after these people who scam unsuspecting senior citizens.

This one's slick, I actually thought there was a live person on the line the first time I heard this call. I could hear him flipping the pages of paper he was reading and I was all set to "play" with the caller when I realized that it was a recording. I wish I had a nickel for each time he said "...uh..."  Following is the text of the recorded robo call...

"Hi, uh, this is John from the shipping department of Emergency Medical Alert, I was calling to uh schedule a delivery of your medical alert system, it's uh the "fallen, and I can't get up" type of system you've seen on TV. Looks like the system's been uh recommended by thousands of hospitals and medical professionals, uh, let's see, says here that the system's already been paid for. Looks like you're getting the system because uh either yourself, a friend, a family member or maybe even someone you know has experienced a fall in the past so uh again it's already been paid for so there's no cost to your whatsoever. Also says here that the shipping has already been paid for so to uh schedule the delivery of your Emergency Medical Alert System press 1 uh again to uh have your system shipped out to you press 1 now...press 5 to decline the shipment of your system...."

They called my number and was silent when I answered. I called them back and a recorded message by a gruff voiced male referred to oral sex acts....

Got a call from this number and when I answered the phone, nobody would answer. So I just hung up.

Caller ID comes up Wireless caller which I usually answer, but I didn't recognize the number so I didn't.  Keep calling and don't leave a message.

Just got the call from these boobs. It is a recorded message that was talking even when the answering machine kicked in and was in the middle of the message when the outgoing message finished. Hung up on them. Nothing but spam/crank call.

Same outfit as "alert" 213-710-8660, and this 805 number is a cell phone with a full voice mailbox (I can't imagine why-grin).
The 213 number accepts calls and you can press 1 to be removed from the phone list.   I am buying a whistle to start blowing in the ears of these jerks. Their agent "Tasha" got upset when I suggested other things she can do for a living and make more money,  But she took offense at my graphic descriptions of what she would have to do.

I got 2 calls today from these sobs, I am on the Do Not Call Registry. Surely there is a way to sure these stinking scumbags. Like them all to drop dead everytime they made these calls. Lowlife's don't want a real job. Of course no one would hire them.
