"Eric Marshall" claims have an arrest warrant issued in your your name, for your arrest unless you pay fees and outstanding balance related to a payday loan or sort.

Received an email fro an "Eric Marshall" claiming to have an arrest warrant to pay outstanding balance, jail time and fees on a payday loan, especially one that has been settled.

I would think an arrest warrant isn't issued via email.

SCAM....email has the above phone number to call.  

Received the same as above. An e-mail from "Eric Marshall"claiming to have an arrest warrant to pay outstanding balances, jail time and fees on a loan. Email does not say for what company the loan is from though.

I have never had a payday loan I applied and was denied. have not replyed , thought I would print it and take it to local AG s office. How did u find out it was a scam?

Recieved an email saying my husband had a warrant in a state he's never been to. Smh stupid idiots!

I just got this SCAM too. If someone could take this to police would be great. I would not think an arrest would be through an e-mail either.

I received the same email on Saturday.  Called today, but they were not helpful, kept telling me about a company I did not know, but saying it was a mother company of several smaller payday loan companies.  I asked who some of the other companies were, but they would not give me any of the names.  Called Better Business Bureau to ask about it.  They said that warrants cannot be given this way. Name given was Eric Marshall and the number on email was (805)876-3895.

I just received this same email about a warrant, but I never call because I figure it was a scam and I came here directly to look and see. And it came from the same guy Eric Mitchell.

I applied for a payday loan also and never accepted any money.  I said I didn't need it.  Then, the harassment calls started about me owing just under $300 for them taking the application.  Each call says they have added more money onto what I owe just for the application, even though I never borrowed any money.  Now they call day, night, etc. up to 15 times and we have attached a answering machine to our phone to screen our calls.  The calls even started to have sexual suggestions.  Kinda scary, but absolutely a scam.  The judges and Eric Marshall are both real names taken off the internet.  

Good luck.  Wish I had never applied on line for such a loan.

Some one is threating me for some type of arrest, I'm not sure what's this is about, I thinks it's  fraud trying to get money out if me.

I got the same email, I am calling the police with this information tomorrow to see if something can happening.

I just received a warrant for my arrest in the Internet and, a phone call from that same number I spoke to a man with a Pakistan  accent and I told him to screw  himself and hung up.....my son said mom, is a scam and I said it got to be I have never done anything in my life to be arrested not even a traffic ticket! the letter was from Eric Marshal...

I received the same email on January 25, 2015 from someone claiming to be State Attorney Eric Marshall with an "official" looking emblem

Got a call/voicemail from an "Officer Paul Robinson" from the Tax & Audit dept for the IRS saying there was an "investigation" under my name. If I wanted more info I was to call back (805)876-3895.
Voice was broken English with what sounded like an Oriental accent.....

Voice mail and call x2 from Victor Wallis from IRS we are under investigation......did not respond obviously.
