    It is a total scam. Just read about it on another site.  I also received the message and my account is fine.

    I got it about an hour ago, and it was sent from a computer and not a phone. I went directly to Wells Fargo and they said it's a scam. It's not even their customer service number!

    Got the same message 1 hr ago.  I have an account but know everything is fine.  Wells Fargo would give a toll free number for you to call.

    Seems this just started today, judging by the amount of posts in the past few hours.  Wonder what list my phone number is on.  I don't have a Wells Fargo account.  The only connection I have is that I applied for a job there earlier this year.  Grow-alert seems like it could be legitimate company in United Kingdom.  Wonder if someone hacked their system, and created that phone number email in attempt to look real; or if Grow-alert is just a shell set-up for laundering their scam earnings.  I might have to do a little digging and report it to the FBI.  

    But yes, this text message is related to a scam......

    they are nothing but scam and their web site showing security company i suggest texting them back nasty words so they rethink before they text spam people
