I received that same exact e-mail today in response to an ad on craigslist. Do not call the number! 809 numbers can charge you very high premiums per minute. I reported this matter to IC3.gov.

I emailed back to state we only take cash.. and sent nothing else personal.

I just got the same darn thing!!!  I knew there was something seriously fishy about it!

Well I'm glad I'm a suspeshious person. I recived that exact e-mail just now and wasn't sure how it would work so I wanted to look up how you use a hearing impaired phone#, and this is the website i brought me to!! Thanks for the help its disapointing news bu at least it's not too late.

Wow. Got the exact same email but the person said they their name was Sabrina Reyna!! I have no idea what they hope to gain from this but thank goodness I saw the post. Below is the email  and "her" email address.

I got the same one from a "Bruce Willy." As soon as he started babbling about cashier's checks, I was like "ohhhh, one of THOSE." Does anyone fall for that anymore? Craig's List emails come with a GIANT SCAM warning right at the top, so it's pretty hilarious when the top of the email says "Do not accept cashier's checks from faraway buyers" and the email says "I am in Oklahoma and I want to send a cashier's check .. "

Sabrina wanted to buy a chest I avertised on Craigslist, site unseen. she stated in her email she was hearing empaired. Her company was sending me a ck for a mistaken amount of 2500, she said to add 100 to the price of the chest which made a total of 500. The balance 2000 I was to send to her mover via Western Union. Fat Chance I almost got sucked into this one. I decided to check her email address and I found this site. Watch out!

Got the same post from Bruce!  I was immediately suspicious when I got emails from THREE different email addresses from him!  I also got the 951 number.
