Got a call from this number too and they hung up

I got insurance sales call from this number 10/7.

This number has called me repeatedly.  I continue to answer and ask to be placed on their do not call list.  This company is called Home Secure Solutions.  At first, I would get hung up on after I made the request, which was fine with me.  However, they continue to call.  I then started getting calls from salespeople who would continue to "sell" me after I asked to be taken off of their call list.  I get calls several times a week, at various times a day.  Today I spoke with someone named, "Matthew" who claimed to be a supervisor (I asked to speak to a supervisor as soon as I picked up the phone).  I asked, again, to be taken off the call list and informed him that I would be reporting his company to the FTC if I received one more call.  I have had enough!  He continued to try and give me his speech.  "Matthew" kept telling me that this was not a sales call.  Through my protests, he told me to calm down and that I was being rude!!!  So, I decided to flip the game.  I "calmed down" and asked for the name of the company (Home Secure Solutions) and their location (Tampa, Florida -supposedly).  I asked how he got my number.  "Matthew" said that my number was selected with 9 others from my "local community."  I asked him to specify said "local community" as I had recently moved.  He answered, "Texas."  So, he is telling me that in the entire state of Texas, only 9 numbers have been "randomly selected"?! And that the entire state of Texas is my "local community"?!  I think not!!!  I then asked him what he wanted to talk to me about.  He said that he wanted to give me a "free" home security system as a product promotion.  At that point, I thanked him for the "generous" offer and politely declined.  I also asked (yet again) to be taken off the list and promptly hung up on "Matthew".  The FTC website is down because of the government shutdown, but I plan to report a complaint for every single time I have received a call from this company as soon as I can.  I urge you all to do the same.  Please forgive my many gramatical errors and excessive use of quotations.  I am steaming mad and wanted to get this message out.

Thank you, Chelsea.   This matches what I found out, and gives me more.  Thanks, hope you finally got rid of "home solutions".

they call both of our cell numbers & landline 2 or 3 times a day Have told them several times to quit calling.

This number has called me 3 times in the past 2 days.  I've refused to answer because I don't answer random #s, but I think I will answer next time just to tell them to leave me the heck alone.  And also to see if it's this same home security "business".
Also, the caller ID on my phone states that the call is coming from Tampa, FL.

Have received several calls from this number, never answered.  Today I did, a hang up.  I utilize a sports whistle for just these sort of telemarketers.  I stop them mid-sentence, ask them to listen real closely and then blow the whistle for all its worth, hang up...and hope they call back.  Only one has, they were greeted with another blast.

Interesting.  Apparently I'm one of those in the local community of "Texas".  I work for the local police department here and believe it or not, we get these same calls.  You'd think answering the phone "Police Dept" might be a clue to them.  Doesn't work.  So now when they call, and pretend not to hear me say Police Department, I asked who they want.  I get a name and immediately, with a small gasp in my voice, I tell them that he was killed yesterday in a shootout and that we'll have a news statement available shortly.  I think so far, almost half of my department is dead now.  Guess I'll get the Chief to hire some new cops or we're going to be run over by crime!  I wish people would realize that anyone calling you from a number you don't know, doesn't know you.  They aren't a long lost friend, you haven't won the lottery nor is it a "great deal" just waiting for you.  Ignore it, and don't answer.  They'll get tired of you eventually.

I think they got my number from a hotel that uses Choice Priviledges Program, justed book a room at Comfort Suites or from The European Wax Center, these are the only two companies that have this cell number. They must have an employee that works for both Home Solutions and or The European Wax Center or Choice Priviledges, did anyone use the same companies?

I booked a room in Comfort Suites about 2 months ago. I get this call on a daily basis. I flipped out a couple of times already. Still they keep calling.

Hung up when I answered.....

They are calling me also and hang up when I ask to be put on they're not call log

I didn't answer, they left no message.
