This a a call from PROVEST... DO NOT ANSWER ANY CALLS or return calls to this company. If you do, denay any question they may ask you (like confiming the last digit of your SS) even if the information is true.
It is a collecting company that will try to harass you with unfounded debs that you don't own.

This number 813-250-6450 called me with a lady that sounded nice. I didn't know the number so I told her wrong number. At that time she began with the questions of who was I etc. I returned with my only words that you have the wrong number and Virginia doesn't live here. 15 seconds later she was calling my cell phone. I didn't give them my number and I don't ans numbers I don't know... Don't answer it or you will be opening a old debt that has dropped off your credit report. This company will try to collect after the reporting agency has dropped the company from your report because even though it off you credit doesn't mean we still don't owe it. Don't answer it.

They called me a few minutes ago.  They have the wrong number, I'm sure.  They FAILED TO DO THEIR DUE DILIGENCE.

Isn't it amazing how many idiots are in the legal profession?

These people asked all kinds of questions regarding my social security
number....they appear to be ID thieves. DO NOT ANSWER.

I always Google numbers coming in on my cell and NEVER answer. The caller left a VM that I will ignore/clear. Found this site and am thankful for the info. Thanks!

Wanted to verify my personal information.  I said no, they started calling my work number too!!!!!  They call every day four to five times to harrass.  Best to say, "doesn't live here anymore" on the initial call.

The company is ProVest and they do skip tracing and process serving for banks and law firms. If they are calling you they are either trying to serve you foreclosure papers or your mortgage company is trying to get in touch with you and you are dodging their calls. The company website explains it all.

VM left said Dennis from Provest needed to verfiy my mailing address cause they had documents to deliver from Marion County Indiana and left a referrnce number and to call back 813-250-6618. Never been to Indiana, don't recall every having any business with any Indiana Company and my mortage company/bank know where I am am at.    Seems like a good time to get the annual free credit report request in.

This is a number for PROVEST , they try to get you to confim your personal information to harrass you. They claim to be working with your home lender and just need to update your information... yeah right!!! don't fall for it...

This is definitely a 3rd party process server particularly for foreclosures when the owners don't return mortgage company phone calls.  Well people in foreclosure usually don't want to deal with the horrific stuff they lay on you.

I just received a call from this number, the guy stated he was calling on behalf of my mortgage provider (verified the lender) and was simply ensuring their database was correct on behalf of the lender.  He asked to verify the numbers he had on file were accurate, my dumbass answered his question with a "yes", and that was it.  I hung up the phone, and immediately regretted it.  I called my mortgage provider to ask about the affiliation with this company (ProVest).  The rep from my mortgage servicing provider stated they DO NOT have any affiliation with this company.  I urge everyone NOT to answer any questions these people ask.  I don't know what they're scheming, but they're scheming something.

the website for this company claims they are process servers.  claims they serve court notices to homeowners going through foreclosure.  I am NOT in foreclosure, my account is in good standing.  So there would be absolutely no reason why my lender would release my info.  what i'm saying is, this "company" is a big sham!!!!!  don't answer any questions.

Provest is an outsource process serving company that is used by collections and foreclosure law firms.  They serve people with court papers.  Provest itself is not a debt collector.  Anything they ask you is an attempt to locate your or the person they are attempting to serve.  If you are able to avoid them service is generally done via publication.  Avoiding them may slow but will not stop a foreclosure action.

Same thing, a very nice lady "Shannon" left a voicemail saying she has some documents from the county. She needs to know where she can send those documents, jaaaa. SCAM!! dont fall´for it please.

I´m not in a foreclosure or have any mortgage issues, this caller is trying to get personal information for who knows what.
