This is some kind of rip off scam. They want your phone number to verify your identify and then they can't seem to tell you what business they are in.

I had this number call, trying to connect 3 individuals that I know personally to someone else in our church that has no idea who they are. She couldn't tell me why she was calling. She said that He was listed on a reference form of some sort for these people.
Really weird.
