Some guy named Owen from Diamond Vacations telling me I've won some vacation. Scam!!!

No-call list is supposed to stop these sales calls.

I called the 888 number that the pre-recorded "Olan" or "Owen" provided and listened to the telemarketer guy (a real person) read off his card about some sort of blah blah blah time share or something I had to do to get a "free" cruise or whatever. He then started asking for personal info, and I asked him why he needed it, and he said to make sure I would qualify (i.e., had money to fork over) and he added that they didn't want people like himself to show up, "because I'm broke," which I believe was probably the only honest thing this hapless telemarketer said.  I threw a bit of line back at him by telling him that I was broke too and that it hurt to be reminded of it. I actually think he felt sympathetic. He said that he would take me off their call list. So that might be one way to get them to stop calling.

Got the same thing today. The disconnected message is on their answering machine. They are not really disconnected.
