calls no message

I got a call with the person offering me a membership to American Auto Discount.  They got my credit card number and other info from "People Finders".  They offered me many freebies and a 7 day trial membership to their "club".  

Yet when I call the number of this company, no one ever answers.  

Also, option three sends you to the AAA in Oklahoma, and they never heard of the company.  

I am suspicious.

Did they attempt to take money from your credit card?

I am getting the same calls from this number there are other florida numbers calling as well they do have people's credit card information i just canclled my card and would advise ppl to do the same thing!!!

I don't want these people calling me period  and if the access my debit cardI will sue the pants off them

Got a call from 813-413-9020 They got my number from Peoplefinders when I did a search. Offered Amer. Auto Discount. Refused all offers they had but guy wouldn't stop talking so I finally hung up. They had my credit card # from Peoplesfinders.

I just recieved a call from this same number and when I called it back it said to leave your ten digit number to be removed from the calling list.
Makes you wonder whats going on.

Have had this call everyday for the last week, I don't answer, when I called back it said to enter the # you wish to be removed from their do not call list, somethings not right, How do they get our #s to begin with.

Like so many others I've gotten several calls from this number, and when calling the number back I got the recording regarding removal of my number from their call list...I finally did answer, the caller asked for me by my first name, and wanted to verify the last 4 digits of my credit card, to which I responded with the standard "stop calling this number, etc."
I haven't used People Finders, however I did use that card for Been Verified (beenverified.com) and I will be letting them know about it.

I got two calls from this number. Didn't take either one. I called peoplefinders and they told me that "it was our verification department calling to verify that it was an authorized charge." I specifically asked if they gave out my card number and they said no, it was their verification department. That sounds bogus to me.

I checked that I did NOT want to be contacted by email or phone with People Finders and this company has called 3 times in 4 hours with an auto-dialer so of course there's no one there and I get a hang up.

I Called this number and told to enter in my phone number I wish to havew removed from its call list but it never said to press star or anything to confirm the number. Then the recording said I had $8.40 remianing on my account and to add to it within 14 days.

The people finders makes since.  I just did People finders on Monday and calls started on Wednesday.

People Finders makes sense to me. I signed up for their locator services last weekend, and the calls began Monday from 813-413-9020. The guy on the other end of the phone had my personal information including one of my CC #'s. I am cancelling the card in question, and all association with People Finders.

Multiple calls every day from this place.

Check your credit card very closely for unauthorized charges.

I have gotten two phone calls from this #. i did sign up for peoplefinders so i can get the list of my addresses for a background check that needed to be done. if they have done something with my #, I'll cancel my other card tomorrow and have a newer one issued.

Just talked to a people finders rep, who ADMITTED that they pass on your credit card information "in case you are interested in any of their products."  This would be illegal, right?

I did people finders. They charged me $24.95 when I agreed to .95 for a one time look up. I have had 3 calls today but no one talks.

TMI calling about my visa card and gave me the last four digets.  They want to send you gas vouchers and vacation offers to sign up with the auto insurance.  I asked them to stop calling my cell phone but they have not.. they insist that I signed up with someone to get this type of informaiton.. I did not.
