my wife got a call today whil she was at work from a man named florez he was calling about a credit card with our credit union we had already paid.  This man threatned my wife saying they could put a lien on our property and they could take legal action, which I know is absolutely untrue.  My wife was so upset that she called me crying.   Then i got a call from the same man on my cell phone advising me the same thing, when I told him I had already paid this he called me a liar and said I owed 6000 dollars.  I have called the credit union and they too say it has been paid and they said they have received numerous complaints about this same agency Client Referrral Services and they have an investigation launched against this company.  I told the lady at my credit union what they said to my wife and she told me to call an attorney and report this to them.  The credit union lady advised me to record all calls from this collection agency and keep in touch with her. I since then have contacted Manning Law Office in Irvine CA and have an appointment to go see them in reference to filing a lawsuit against this Client Referral Services company.  These people are scam artist that bully and threaten you with your home to get money from you on an account that has already paid.  I hope my credit union stops these people.

i received a message on my voice mail from a man staing this has gone past 90 days and the next step was legal action against my husband.  he left a phone number of 813 438 4464 to call him back when i called him i told him he needed to speak to my husband about this and he went on and on.  I know that it is illegal to disclose anything more than your name and number on a voice mail and he broke the law.  I since then contacted Kinecta Credit Union about this Client Referral Services and they told me this company was under investigation with them and they have had numerous complaints about this company breaking the laws with their customers.  The lady I spoke with at Kinecta advised me to file complaints against this company with California Attorney Genral, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Better Business Bureau in Florida where the company is located.  Which I will do immediately.   I urge anyone getting phone calls from this company to save your voice mails like I did and report them.  The next step will be to contact and attorney that protects consumer rights and sue this man who claims to be sueing my husband.  It is illegal to conduct collections of any kind without first sending out a validation notice, which they did not and it is definitely illegal to state on a voice mail anything other than you name and number.
