Good company and very respecfull they did just the right thing to make things work for me

My mother received a call from a jay martin trying to find a friend of hers. He said her friend had written bad checks and he needed to find him and made it seem like he was in trouble with the law and was going to be arrested. My mother was very upset and called me. Upon further checking into this man and his company Client Referral Services phone 813 438 4490 the greeting says something about court documents being served to you. When I called the Attorney General’s office here in New Mexico I found out this company Client Referral Services is not even licensed to collect debt in New Mexico and further more the company has never issued court summons to anyone in the whole United States (meaning they have never sued, arrested or taken legal action against anyone, probably because they are a scam and don't even have a collection license. I then contacted a consumer protection attorney here in New Mexico and they told me this man Jay Martin and this company Client Referral Services (or at least that is what the voicemail says when you call their number) has broken many laws and they offered representation in suing this company for my mother and her friend. They have broken many laws including disclosing personal information to a third party, making threats of legal action that have never been taken by this company, slander of my mom's friends name, and not being licensed to collect debt in the state to which they called. This company is operating illegally and we will make sure they are stopped, if you get a call from this man or his company please contact the Attorney General in your state and post any findings on the internet. Also make sure to call an attorney in your area like I did that protects consumers and you can even make a little money for your troubles. By the way the law office I spoke to said they don't charge my mom or John anything to file action against this company, the company they sue pays the legal fees or it comes out of the lump sum of the settlement they make with them and then my mom and her friend get the rest.

this company is breaking alot of laws and they need to be sued good luck to you..... consumer protection attorneys will represent you free and you will make alot of money off this company for the laws they have broken.  they deserve to have to pay for the things they are doing

you must work for these people because you know they are not respectful they are crooks, liars and low lifes

these people called me today and you can barley understand what they are saying. I did understand enough to know that the gentleman that left the message broke several laws while leaving this message.  I saved the voice mail and I am turning it over to my attorney and sending a copy to the Attorney General in California.  This company is doing things that are wrong and I will follow through in doing my part to stop them.

by the way when you call back the phone number 813- 438-4497 it just goes to a voice mail.  This is very suspicious as if someone was calling from their cell phone and not even an office.  BEWARE of this scam a real company would have a greeting played or a live person answering the phone.  this is probably one of those companies in India trying to get you to pay bogus debt and that is probably why I couldn't understand tyhe voicemail so good.   BEWARE of scammers trying to collect bogus debt see this link to a website about this http://www.cleveland.com/consumeraffairs/inde ... million_sc.html
