stop calling me

Caller id says "Out of Area."  I didn't answer.  My voice mail was activated but no message was left.

Caller ID says Tampaest.  I didn't answer and no message left.  Likely scumbag bottom feeding telemarketers.

I did not answer. Called me and left no message. Have not received another call from the number.

It was a call regarding Obama

I called the number. It is a recording that says ORGANIZING FOR AMERICA.

They called me at 3:06 am and then I received a call from an unavailab number a minute later.
I get anywher from 30 to 70 calls each day from collectors about people I don't even know! I've had my home # for 5 years. One person has the same last name as I do, but I don't know him. This has gotten crazy.

They have called me over and over.  I have answered their calls and told them that I don't do telephone political surveys..  I told them over and over to remove me from their calling list and they still call.  November 6th can't get here fast enough.  Hate these jerks.

This # (813) 445-5126 and similar annoying calls are usually Robo-Calls which are automated dialing computers that simply dial every number combination and log every phone number that is not disconnected.

1        Add your phone number to the national Do Not Call Registry, which is maintained by the
Federal Trade Commission.  Visit to the agency's website (ftc.org) and enter your information. You can
check the website later to confirm that your number is registered.
     
2       Keep track of the phone calls you receive after you have been put on the list. Generally you
must wait about 30 days for the registry to take effect. Note the date, time and details of the calls.
Prerecorded calls must, by law, provide information at the beginning with the name of the business and a phone number for requesting that the calls stop.
     
3     Call, write or email the companies that are calling. Ask to be removed from their call list. Make
a note of when you made the requests. This will help you file complaints to authorities if the calls
do not stop. By making a polite request, you may succeed in getting businesses that are legally
allowed to call you to take you off their list.
     
4   Report calls that continue to federal authorities or to your state attorney general's office.
These agencies do not investigate specific incidents of calls, but do keep track of complaints and
investigate companies that habitually break the law.

Tips & Warnings:

  Add your home and mobile phone numbers to the Do Not Call Registry.  Robocalls are prohibited
to any mobile phone, but registering all of your numbers should also help reduce live telemarketing calls.

FOUR CALLS TODAY alone.  Obama, Obama, Obama.  What makes these losers think that all who are voting for Obama are even HOME during the business day to take FOUR CALLS between 9am and 2:15pm (EST).  Oh yeah.....
