Computer message about going on a trip.

Phone listed to Verizon, Tampa Florida.  Contacted verizon to report telemarkington calls and was informed the calls were not made from Verizon Phones.  Was told that there is a program that can be downloaded onto a computer, including a Smartphone where the phone number can be changed and what phone company it shows.  Was told that the US Government was working on it for about a year now to pass a law against it. I was told it was called Spoofing.  Beware of numbers 304-445-6838, 212-777-3456 and 813-889-7003.

As always, whatever it is, it sounded too good to be true

report to fcc. i did.  take the time to go through the message and talk to the operator.  ask her to verify her location & company name (acting like your verifying there validity).  i had a good time doing this, and when the gal question my questions, i let her know i was collecting info to report to FCC.  CLICK!  lol.
