Another scam phone call trying to get you to wire money-- ignore it!

Do not trust them, they are scam.They use nick names and try to scare you.We need to report to police department.

I have been getting calls on my job and cell phone from this number indicating that I took money and did not repay I have asked on numerous occasions for the documentation and nothing cannot be given to me and I know it is a scam, they called me previsouly from a 646-434 number and now they are using an 813 number.  I need to know what to do, they are constantly harrassing me and I have absolutely no knowledge of this.......


THEY PEOPLE ARE A SCAM.........

These people just terrorized my very elderly and frail parents in the Midwest and told them that they had to show up in court tomorrow regarding a family member that they know nothing about!!!!! When I called to have their number removed from their database  it took three phone calls and three different people to hopefully get the job done! The first two were very rude, hateful and obnoxious!  They sound like they are foreigners taking on common American first names who probably work for a debt collection organization or maybe its a scam. I am told that they also go by the name of Department of Law and Investigations. Beware of this scum!

They are a pest, I received 6 calls to my Cell and 3 to my work, telling me, that they are the Department of Law and Investigations, and that I best contact them today or my Lawyer, or I will be in trouble.  They can not speak any English and there is a lot of people in the background speaking also.
Very rude and hateful, and did not give a name.

i recieved a call and am scared they will take money out of my account. they took 100$ out of my brothers account and i didnt give them any info but could they get it??

I have recieved a phone call from 0-527-977-77. When I call back I am told you can not call this number. The message they leave is very distorted and tell me they are from  law and investigations and I have to call back right away. They have called about every 10 minutes. They leave  phone number 1-813-995-6249. What should be done?

I have recieved phone call after phone call from the Dept. of Law and Investigation telling me i owe them $400 dollars and i am being sued for $5,000 dollars they harass me and threaten me all the time telling me i am going to jail if i do not pay them.The men are very rude they call my job and also told my employer that she will accompany me to jail because she would not let them talk to me then they told me that God could not help me or save me from going to jail or from getting in trouble. The guys names i have recieved calls from are James Harrison, and Neil Johnson and a guy named Steven the Phone number is 813 995 6249

I had this number call me too!! They called my job 3 times and my cell phone numbers times. All calls have been recorded at my job and I told them not to call and they did again. I told them I would sue for harassment if they called again! It was Neil Johnson who called me. The first call they told me to pay $400 and they second call they told me to pay $200. I told them I didn't have the $$ and they said they couldn't help me and hung up. They told me if I didn't pay by noon today they were going to the court house..I don't know what to do. What can I do about this??

These people are going to cause me to lose my job! I have asked that they stop calling me at work and the guy was a jerk and hung up on me! I contacted a lawyer and plan on taking suit against these people for harrassment.

Have been getting calls from 813-995-6249, saying I am a reference for my son who owes them money - $500.   He never got money from them.  The caller says they are going to report us to a fraud bureau?  Too much of an accent to tell what all they said.  Is there anything I can do?

The phone shows up as comming from Florida somewhere.

Same stuff, threatens the use of my SS number, thats what is most scary to me.

These people have called me also at work and cell #  1st it was the Dept of law and investigation and now its is ACS Investigations and a woman named Ms. Johnson, i have had Robert Clave, Austin Philips, some steve guy also.  All of whom speak barely any english with lots of people in the backgrounds talking.  Demanding more acct. information threatening jail, court all of the above. I am about to be fired becasue they will not stop calling

they called my phone and my coworkers cell pone whichi have no idea how they got that number

I have also recieved threatning and harassing phone calls from these people. They are very rude and will curse you out very quickly. When i tried to pump them for information, they get very I rate and hung up on me. I have contacted my attorney but they say it is very hard to track them and the majority of the time they use track phones. I was told the only thing i can do is change my home number and just not answer my cell phone when they call. I was advised that i could try to report these incidents to the federal trade commission. They have told me there name is Department of law and Investigation. # 1-813-995-6249 and the last supervisor name was Edward Morrison. I will still file a report with the federal trade commission. We have blocked every single # they have called from and they always seem to call from a new number.

yes...today i got a call from these guys at the department of law and investigation and they left a message on my cellphone, saying that my sister borrowed money from them and used my name as a reference, and they are filling a lawsuit in behalf of payday loans for fraud....i called back that 813-9956249 to see what's really going on...and like the rest of you, i hear people on the background, like a marketing thing...very noisy, and the person who answered me was very unprofessional, and also a bit rude to be a law enforcement officer... I just asked and listen, and they said that i need to get my sister to call them back, and i tried to get more info, but they say that this is a confindential matter between my sister and them and they were situated in Florida, and they were calling me in California....What was strange, was they gave me an American name, but the person who answered also had an accent, and doesn't sound American to me....Anyway, I check with my other sister, and she said that she also got a call from this Dept. of Law and Investigation., and she told me that after checking on the internet...These people were just a bunch opf scammers. I wish they would stop doing this, and get on with their own life.

The real question about this is: how are they getting cell phone numbers and work numbers? That is what you need to find out. What sites on the net have you signed up with and given real information to? Do you have spyware on your PC (iphone etc). Scan with a good anti virus to see if you have a key logger or trojan.

The real problem is that nobody will help us. We get a ticket for 30 seconds parking over the time limit and so on but when we need help we don't get it. Phone companies simply "shrug" and say if it keeps up call back or something like that.

These calls have to be stopped.

i got a call from these people today...the called my job...wheni called back the number no one answered...the guy that called my job was a mr. hansen..he was very rude to the receptionist at my place of employment...after reading all of these posts of these people being scams i have called the number back and told then if they call my job one more time my lawyer will be slapping them with a harrassement law suit....so we will see if they call my job again
