Claiming that I was going to be arrested and put in jail for 30 days there were three counts of fraud againt me.  They would not forward me the information of the persons making the claim of fraud.

I too got a call today stating if I didn't pay $876 my case would be presented to the courts for immediate action. It all seemed too weird, they refused to verify my questioning and called me a joke?!
However, I was foolish enough to have given them my cc info, but placed a hold on my account asap!
Can criminal action be brought against these people for fraud?

I got a call claiming he was from Legal Department of Confirmation regarding a lawsuit that was filed against me.

Yes, I was called today also. Do not listen to them. The guy is a thief and a fake. Someone needs to find out who this guy is this guy calling up people with false information. This guy you cant even understand him with his strong indian accent. This guy needs to be found and be put in jail for all the fraud and threats he has made against alot of people.

Just got a call from a Jeff borgie saying I owe 930 for a case out of palm beach county.  And I needed to send money gram.  Recieve code 8803.  Company name was CIS out of Lansdale, to a fax 206.426.6692. He wants me to pay this amount or I will have a warrant for me.

Just like all of you i and a co worker have been called from that number from a guy named James Johnson saying that i owe then $8200 and if i dont pay i will be sued.  Scared me for a min til i couldnt figure out why i owed that much and for what and when i decided to search this number and seen that im not the only one.  Dont know how they got my number or my co workers number.  its a scam and i think they got me a year ago to the day.  not falling for it again.

THIS [***] CALLED ME TODAY SAYING I NEED TO PAY X-AMOUNT OF DOLLARS AND THERE WAS A WARRANT OUT FOR MY ARREST I JUST RENTED A CAR SO THEREFORE I KNEW I HAD A CLEAN RECORD. UNBELIVEABLE

This guy has been harrasing me all afternoon, he even call my job phone saying I took a payday loan and didnt pay back. When I asked him when this deposit was made he could not answer, smh....what a joke..He claims I will have to dispute the matter in court in FL.

I rec'd this same call last month and today they called from a different number.
After i snapped on them i polite told them that i was going to my police dept and file charges against them and hung up. Let the Dept of Economics deal with them.

I received a call just like everyone else. Same thing. Its a scam, isthere anything that can be done ? Oh and he also called and my work phone number showed on my caller I.D.

This guy called and claimed to be working for a lawyer in an attempt to get my financial info, I assume. He actually appeared as my work number after trying from a different number several times, unsucessfully. I was irritated and screamed at him. He called back and I told him to take a walk, he ended the convo saying I'd be going to jail for 30 days.

this james jonhson called he said he was PDL and told me i owe for a payday loan, i new i didnt tae one out ,but my boyfriend did so i first thought he was screwing around. then he ased for $300.00 if i didnt pay  i would be put in jail for 30 days and half to go to jacsonville,fl to go to court. so i gave him my c.c. after that he called me right bac and told me i gave him the wrong numbers. then i called the police they told me not to give him any money this james johnsonscard me so much. then he called me again so i called the police back ,he listened to the message he left ,then he said to me DOES HE REALLY SOUND LIKE A JAMES,HE SOUNDS LIKE A FORNIER.the thing that freaked me out the most was he had my social security number

This same guy just called me and I could barely understand what he was saying. He said something about the police coming to pick me up and my job or at my house. I have no idea what he is talking about. The thing that is making me upset is that he called my job.

I got a call from 8143242010 that went to my answering machine. All that was said, in a computer voice, was F*** YOU! Guess they got tired of me not answering the phone. LOL

I received a message claiming they were the legal department of California, he said they were going to issue a warrant for my arrest and when I called the number back it was a not in service number, that really pissed me off!!!

Yeah this [***] called my husband today Called his job number on caller id popped up as Olive Garden lol. then on hubby's phone popped up like his job was calling him. Said he took out a title loan and hasnt made payments and if he doesnt make a down payment on $400 today my husband would have to go in front of a judge in Pennsylvania and that there was a warrant out for his arrest. My husband was freaking out bc this guy had all his personal info including SS# so my hubby gave his debit card number. I knew it sounded fishy so i call my local Police Department to get some info and he assured me this was a scam. Hubby ran to the bank and froze his account pulled out all his money and opened a new one. The guy called again and asked if my husband was ready to make a payment my husband said he would call the attorney gn office and the scammer just replied with ok well I will process this through the courts and hung up. I called my local BBB to see what I could do. Nothing. He is not here in the states so they have no way of finding him. Scary as Sh** bc this man has personal info about my hubby that no one should know! Be careful ppl

Same here Jeffery Borgne from some fraud division on PayDay loans called from 814-324-2010 and said I owed $500 on a loan I haven't paid. He had my SS# and bank acct.# too. This is a scam - at least he was telling the truth when it comes to FRAUD division-and he is the fraud!!! Report to BBB of the US which covers most states and the FBI. Happy Hunting!

ya  they tried to tell me that i have recived a loan and that they were taking leagal  matters against me? when i asked for the name and address of the loan place he did not have it. i said that i have not recived any loan from any one, in facked i  am still tring to get on, i have not accepted any from any one. i then asked what account it was supposed to have been depositedinto and he gave me an account number that i do not have and dose not match any off mine. when i asked to speek to a superviser, he hung up on me?

oh ya the mother ffer even had my ss number right????
