caller says he is john davis calling about a legal matter and to return call when i did i said i was my moms lawyer he wanted my bar code said i wouldnt give it to him, he then said how do i know this is not my mom and i said it isnt even her phone number cause they got caller id and said i was calling from the number they called lol. the law has to do somthing about these scum bags my mom is 81 years old .

I had 15 calls from this number today while I was at work but no messages were left. I'm coming home to anywhere from 20-30 calls everyday from this number and others just like it.They just won't stop.

I am constantly receiving calls from this number on a daily basis and into the evening hours.  I do not answer the call and it goes directly to my voice mail.  The caller says his name is Jeff Allen and he is calling with a serious legal matter and if I do not call him back I will suffer the consequences.  My information will be processed and I will be held responsible for much legal matters.  I should call right away or I will be in severe trouble.  The man speaks with a Pakistani accent that I can barely understand him and I have to check my message several times to just figure out what he is saying and understand the phone number he is leaving me.  I am tired of this harassment.

Getting calls often from "Alan Jackson" with Indian accent. Spoke with one Asian lady who was nice. When I explained that I had this phone number for years and didn't know an "Amber", she said she would remove it from the database. A few days later I got more calls threatening legal action. I am getting the same messages. Last week it was from a ga number and his name was victor. He is nuts! He said that he was going to come and arrest me and then called my work! My boss spoke with him and he said that he was going to arrest her as well because i used her as a reference. Im thinking of changing my number.

They are calling me and threatening me. I received like 10 calls. How can we stop this?

I Keep getting calls form a guy and sometimes a guy and a lady. They told me I was on a three way call with their attorney and if it was on to speak with them.  I called them a scam artist and they hung up.

I just got a call today from this stupid #. someone with a heavy accent was telling me to have my attorney or myself callback and if they didn't hear back they wish me good luck with what's going to happen to me. i tried calling back to the number HE gave me and it just beeps back like the # isn't in service. in the message, he didn't even leave a company name or anything.

Received a call from this number. The person I spoke with was of Indian descent. He said that he as with the LX Law Firm out of Pennsylvania, and that I should contact their attorney Steve Jones at this number.

The Illinois Attorney General filed a class action lawsuit against a company out of California that had bilked millions of people by threatening them with lawsuits if they did not send them money-usually disguise because one has left their personal and banking information on the internet some place. How these people get this information I do not know, but I suggest you contact your states Attorney General and file a complaint. Illinois has put several of these companies out of business and tracked down the owners for prosecution.

If you receive a call of this type especially from someone with a heavy Indian accent call your attorney generals office immediately with any information you can get our to these people-trace the number.

I am reporting this new incident to the Illinois Attorney General office now. They will harass you and threaten you and call your job and try to scare you into giving them what they want. Just call and file a complaint with your states attorney generals office. Illinois ran a page article explaning how this is done and who the scammers are and instructing everyone to contact the attorney general office in their respective states.

The lesson is to do not ever put your personal information on the internet again. If you do on-line banking, in a word stop!
