This number called my cell phone, but didn't leave a message.  I've narrowed it down to a land line in Rockford, IL, but that's all I know about it.  Anybody have any idea...?

I didn't answer, they didn't leave a message.
Caller ID said "Wireless Caller"

Showed up on mycaller id

Credit card company making you think something is wrong.

This is a phone scam-I received a call today (07/12) at 4:07 pm and it was a recording to lower my interest rates on my credit cards and said to push 9 to speak to a representative. I did that and when the lady came on line and asked if I was responding to lower my credit card rates. I replied I was responding to have her put me on her do not call list. She then hung up on me. I called the number back and it was a gentleman who answered and had no clue as to what I was talking about. This is a SCAM. DO NOT give out any information to anyone at this number.

Hi This is Rachel from Card Holder Services........ How many phone numbers do these people actually have???  These telemarketers should try harder to call people who actually have credit cards.

Received call just now in NYC, Friday, 7-16-2010 @ 3:08pm EDT  Left no message.  I called back (number captured from the Caller ID, it was listed "Illinois") & I received a recording that this subscriber could not receive messages at this time.  What a crock!  Thanks everyone for the info shared here.  Besides reporting to the Do Not Call List, we should bombard our Senators & Representatives with our complaints about these callers, the inefficiency of the Do Not Call List and the phone companies to not do anything about this because, of course, these callers are paying customers, so the phone companies want to keep the income.

Just Copy/Paste what you write here into the website of your PAID Representatives and paste the information into your computer's word processing software.  If you don't have one, go to http://www.openoffice.org/ for free software that's compatible with Microsft. Or just keep it in a Notepad file from the Start Button on your computer Start/ Programs/Accessories/Notepad.

Robo-call from "Rachel at Card Holder Services" asking me to press '9' if I want to lower my interest rate. Caller ID name is "WIRELESS CALLER".

KEEP receiving calls from this #.  No messages left.  I just finally answered one robo call, asking if I wanted to lower my interest rate on my "credit card", press 9.  "Fake friendly" voice :   This is Jeff, who am I speaking to?"  I said "WHO AM I SPEAKING TO?  WHAT CREDIT CARD ARE YOU REFERRING TO?",  He stalled a little then said, Visa and Mastercard.  This is "Lower your rates with Visa and Master Card?"  I said, from a WIRELESS CALL?  (I'd think that kind of call would come from a Bank????)  He said nothing, nothing, no response so I hung up.  I believe this is a fraud, looking to collect your identity info.

This number called my home # today around noon - I didn't answer, and they didn't leave a message.  It comes up on Caller-ID as 'CellPhone, IL' - the only CC's I have are debits so who knows who sells phone #'s to these scam companies... it's a shame people need to cheat other people to make a buck.

Just got a call within the last half hour in NYC. Caller ID listed "Illinois". Tried calling back and got the same recording another user posted that "this subscriber is unable to receive messages at this time".

When I say, Not interested. she replies in a harsh way, "Your not interested in saving money.'
