This number calls and calls, but no message - 7 days a week, all hours

These idiots have called 10 to 12 times in the last three days to someone who does not exist at my number.  I called the number and twice explained to the person at Citicorp that they have a wrong number for the person they are trying to contact.  Each time they say that they would stop the calls but I'm still getting calls.  What does it take for Citicorp to get their head out of their [***] and stop calling me...

This # has called our # 24 times in the last 4 days.  No message left on why or if you pick there is no one there.

This number has been calling my house all day, asking for sensitive information such as billing data.

My elderly mother has been getting calls from this number, something about "Sears" and "government" (I haven't personally heard the message). It said to enter her checking account number to pay her "past due Sear's bill". She did, unfortunately, but could not complete the transaction for some reason which was why she had called me to ask my help.  My immediate "gut" reaction was that it was a scam. We went down to Sear's to check on the "past due" bill. IT was not past due, and their records showed that she had already made a payment, and was current with her bill. I am calling the Honolulu Police Department next after writing this blog. I had to "google" this number to see who it was or who it was registered too etc. I had my mother call tthe credit union to take steps to protect her checking account by closing it down. So far what have seen on the internet about this number screams "SCAM".  Please DO NOT give any personal vital information over the phone or attempt to "pay" your "past due"  Sear's bill. Check with Sear's.

I got a call from this number this morning. I suspect it is a scam and someone has gotten into Citicorp's data base. I would just ignore this number if I were you and take Kalei's advice.

This is neither Sears, Citicorp or the Govt. They call and want your information and somehow they've gotten our credit card number. We are now getting fraudulent charges. We called Sears and they've said this is NOT them.

I haven't answered.  Kid answered and hung up.  They keep calling.  We know now it is a scam looking for info.  Now will really not answer no matter how often they call.  If they said it was Citicorp we would have hung up too as we have nothing with Citicorp but mortgage and it is Paid automatically every month.

After reading the previous posts, I assumed that this was not a legitimate business.  However, this is inaccurate.  It is, in fact, Citibank calling regarding the Sears Account.  They left a Toll Free return number.  Rather than calling the number, I went on line and discovered that my account, as they had said, was past due.  I would recommend that if you get called by this number, you check on your account status.

This number calls all hours of the day and night,  its disgusting and we are tired of it.  There is no one on the other end, and they leave no message on the machine.  Its very annoying,  they call early in the mornings and late at night.  We are seeking legal advice on this number

Same on my end.  Calling all the time with nobody on phone and no messages left.  As an Law Enforcement Officer never give or verify banking or credit info as they would already have this if they were legitimate.  Personal info, ie. name address you can verify.  Check all credit accounts to verify u are up to date.  If not then contact that banking institution via their phone number.  All else fails block the number.  Most smart phones are able to block a specific number or contact your carrier to do the same.
