i received a message say it was a complaint against me

This number called my daughter saying it was looking for her step dad. When she inquired about who was calling they wouldn't identify themselves or company name. All they kept saying they were with state processing and needed to talk to him.  They wouldn't answer any questions and just left a phone number different than what called (she couldnt catch the different number because the lady talked to fast and hung up).

I've been receiving calls from this number for a couple of months. They have been calling my mother's cell phone and parents home the most. They wouldn't give a company name that they were calling from or leave a message. They first started off saying that I had 2 hours to call back or they were going to issue a bench warrant. Then it was I was going to miss a court date.They would give a case number and a number to call back. I called the MO Attorney General's office and was told it was a scam. The people calling have gotten a hold of old debts and their info is very limited to what they have. So they call what ever is on the info they have. They scare you into believing that you are in some kind of trouble. You can't issue a bench warrant on a debt. That is a civil issue not criminal. So tell them that you know it's a scam and hang up. The rep at the AG's Consumer Protection division said it may take a few times but they will stop calling.

This number just and left a message that a complaint had been filed against us and gave a case number. I did an online search and everyone else says this is a scam and if you call the number back, it's a non working number.

Called and hung up. Glad I read these comments.  

I have had the same experience as reported by others----same threats---no info provided on reason for call----These threats are a violation of the law re: debt collection----I don't know what else it might be-----

They have called 2 days in row. It's a collection agency. The ask both times for a Paul Roe who use to have my phone number.  I ask then for the company name and the man hung up on me.  They use area coded from all over the USA.

another call for Paul Roe from a collection agency called Conserve 855-353-4247 I ask her if they buy a list since I started getting collection calls yesterday.  the company name says it all      CON - SERVE

ALso got a called from Holiday Cruise Lines in Ft. Lauderdale Florida yesterday and today. Says is a real person calling from a live show her name is  named Jennifer and it IS NOT a auto dial service BUT when you ask unrelated questions like what's the weather like there she says I'm sorry I don't understand the question.
