Just got a call from this # on my cell.  I called back using a land line and got a "We're sorry, but the number you have dialed has been disconnected."

I did too.... Weird?? Very suspicious...

They're making the rounds! It's garbage.

Got the same call.  Didn't try and call the number back, though.

Got the same junk call, and called back to get disconnected...what is the point of these calls...very suspicious and a waste of everyone time.....they should get a real job and life.

The same. No voicemail...nothing.

I got the same call it like he calls when he knows we are not going to answer. I told the police and they said that he or she is watching us when we turn our phones off. He or she can see us throw the camera

I hope you're being sarcastic. If you believe you can be seen thropugh your phone's camera, I have a bridge to sell you in Brooklynn.

There are hacks for tv's, laptops, phones, etc. That will allow people to view what your camera sees and also audio through your speaker phone or xbox kinetic microphone....keep your bridge!

Called my girlfriend. She didn't answer but she called back and it said the number was disconnected.

This number just called me i answered, a ding went off and all the lady said was goodbye.

Yeah I got a call from this number too. Typed it into my Facebook search and it is some African man. Weird.

If you get a call from this number, do not call back. Chances are it's phone fraud. They'll have you call the number meanwhile your phone is racking up international phone charges the longer it's connected.

^^ your phone will not rack up "international" phone charges if you're in the U.S. which I believe most of us are. "817" area code is from TX
