Report a phone call from 817-554-3356 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- MRBThis is a scam. They say they are from the Texas State Troopers. When you ask them to remove your name from their list they become very beligerent. I called the Texas State Troopers and they confirmed that this is indeed a scam. DO NOT DONATE to them if they call you from this number. The guy said his name was Jay Petrie and that his supervisor was Mark Fredde but refused to give further information.
- msWhoever it is just listened to my answering machine, sat on the other end for a bit saying nothing and then hung up.
- luellathey've called me twice, got my answer machine, didn't leave message so i figured it to be a scam thanks MRB for confirming
- DebbieI am so glad I got on google to find out whos no it is, now I know thanks for your help. It was to late for me to get to the phone, and I did not reconized the no. thanks for the info..
- jb| 3 repliesI got a call from this number and the guy said he was with the Texas State Troopers. I was in the middle of something and he said he would call back. I am glad I read this. They are still calling from that number which I have not been answering.
- JeanWhen I answered they mumbled something and hung up.
- brittneyi worked for this company. i'm a college student so really just needed a job asap. they fired me for going to the texas workforce to get info on what to do about this huge scam. i'm now filing for unemployment and would really like to sue this [***] mark fredde.
- brittneythe crazy thing is i didn't even go to the texas workforce until they fired me for thinking i went. DO NOT DONATE TO THESE PEOPLE. ONLY 20%, PROBABLY LESS, GOES TO THE STATE TROOPERS. the rest goes to these lazy, disgusting, sleazy men who probably never went to school or earned their money the hard way. they make a living off stealing money from people who actually earn it. they started calling people getting donations for the "breast cancer relief foundation" which is a scam that is even worse. only about 15% actually goes to the foundation. if even that. i was lied to by the big man himself. he told me 76% went to the foundation. this company is incredibly horrific in every way. i can't even handle all the injustice. convicted felons are handling YOUR credit card information. i'm going to try to tell as many people i know about this huge scam. I HOPE THEY READ THIS.
p.s. Mark Fredde, hawaiian shirts unbuttoned with a cold chain around your neck is extremely out of style and screams SLEAZE BALL.- Caller: Tsta
- another victimcontinue to get calls from this company, no-one speaks and no-one leaves message. They call later evening-around 8:30 pm and WILL NOT TALK.

- Bryan replies to jb| 2 repliesActually we state very clearly that we're with state wide appeal calling on behalf of the Texas State Troopers Association. You have no idea of the cost involved to raise funds for these organizations nor do you ever take time to consider that no one in their right mind would waste tax payer dollars to pay officers to sit and call to raise funds for their own association. It's a business like any other and of course any business expects to see a profit on their investment. Someone has to be paid to do this, office space has to be rented and paid for as well as equipment purchased, services (postage, printing, business telephone service etc...) paid for and other expenses as well. Think before you just rant and rave.
- Warning the Public replies to BryanTrust me, this jacked up company Parent company Telcom Services, Inc. also raises money for the California Police Youth Charities in California as well as programs in Florida, Kansas, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania. They make millions of profit a year. They get low educated people to make phone calls for them and pay minimum wage with a small bonus if you work hard. While they stuff there pockets with money. Yes they do need this money because they keep getting sued and need to pay off attorneys and settlements so they can keep making millions. They are greedy and will lie in your face to get there way.
Yes they hire felons who take credit card information over the phone...It is just a matter of time before they are sued for that and some innocent good hearted person gets scammed.
In California they only give about 13% to the charity which is a joke in itself, The California Police youth charities was sued by the State Attorney General in 2010. - Machsgielis replies to BryanThink before you just rant and rave.

How about not calling people on the "no call list?" If you are just doing a job, why be annoying about it? - RickIt's not a scam per se. They are a legitimate 501(c)(3). However, they pay the majority of the money to the solicitors. Follow this link: https://www.oag.state.tx.us/consumer/letsa/do ... ration_form.pdf. This particular charity received $6,530,283 in donations and spent $5,403,188 for the solicitors, that's 82% of the donations. This leaves 18% to be paid to administrative staff, supplies, etc. Very little would be left going to the actual police.
- DartagnonMark Fredde is listed as one of the operators of Public Appeal Inc. This is a for-profit company that represents police and fire fighter organizations. Their address is 4343 W. Royal Lane STE 120, Irving TX, 75063
