A guy called me asking me about a problem with Microsoft. He told me that my computer was on ! I didn't had the time to ask for more question that he hang up !!! Very strange.

I don't know the above mentioned number is which person but last 2 days the same are again and again call me and when I received this call nobody is speak. If know any one of this so please tell me.

He asked if I was the homeowner because the Ontario government was offering home rebates.  Asked for info about the size of our home.  Then I hung up.

We get these calls about eight in the last two days and when we answer we get a long pause and then someone says goodbye and hangs up. How do we stop this from happening.

Someone called, speaking english with an accent.  Said he was from Microsoft and that there was a problem with my computer.  He asked that I turn on my computer, then I hung up.

We usually don't answer these obvious scam calls. Hubby answered one time and it was the 'virus on your computer' scam. We are in Canada. Our call display says this number is from Texas. We have also received calls from California #707-822-9870, Illinois #618-465-8138, Nevada #702-462-9154, Ontario #289-210-0070, Quebec  #450-924-0424 & International Call # 687896 & #310-8682. I wish there was a way to charge these Jerks.

I don't like the fact I was called on my mobile all the way in the uk from unknown person in texas don't do it agin as I am rather upset about it

Very strange - got a call from a different number asking me about my Vodafone account (I don't have one...) and then within 20 seconds of hanging up this number called.  Afraid I told him I don't take cold calls and hung up so no idea who it was!  Suspect both were scams.

I just received a call from this number.  It was a woman saying they'd received notification I was having trouble with Microsoft.  I told her I was on the Missouri no call list and she ignored it.  I told her again I was on the no call list and hung up.

Same has happened to me, it's a scam. Hang up and don't give any information - Microsoft would not call individuals and if they did they'd be polite, have clear information about any problem and provide a number you can call them on/check.

I received a call from this number.  He told me he was calling about my computer. I believe he said he was from Microsoft.  I told him I was a Senior Programmer and if he was going to tell me I had issues with my computer and he wanted me to go in and change some things or anything like that. I knew what he was doing, and was not going to do it... He hung up.
To enlighten you all.  NEVER go on your computer and change or give any number, letters, etc to these calls.  No one valid will ever call you and say they can tell you are having computer issues.  

Forgot to say, He was trying to access my computer, once he got me to change anything. and he had access then he could get to my bank or anything else, including cell phone if you use Facebook or any other ap on your phone that is also on your computer.  You would end up having to change passwords on everything, and you have to close everything to do so, or they will get the new passwords too.

Another annoying call from this number.  When I told him I didn't own a computer he childishly told me "I was telling lies"!

this call keeps coming in , after I answer there is silence and then a recording says GoodBye I am in Ontario and I want this to stop

called about my windows machine. made him so mad he cussed me. i laughed and hung up.

IRS SCAM
The Caller ID said Arlington Texas 817-649-9068.  My voice mail message said call from 607-562-8977.
Claimed IRS was filing lawsuit against me and that I should call their department number 202-239-1270.
I am not going to call.  The telephone companies need to stop this.  I'm also on National Do not call register.

Too bad  Scam Call  is not an option for  Call Type  on this form.
