This number calls our home a couple of times almost every day. I never answer and they never leave a message. Our number is on the DO NOT CALL list.

Called and hung up when phone was answered

This number called and did not leave a message.  I did not answer, because my cell phone sid it was from Texas.  I am also on the "Do Not Call" list!

I just commented above...after I posted, I called the number to see what it was.  If you try to block your ID,  it will give you a busy signal.  It appears that all it is, is a customer service survey.

The call comes once a day - just a number shows up on the caller id.  No message is left.

Rec'd a call from this number on my cell phone.  We too are on the do not call list.  All that appears is the number and Texas.  I didn't pick up and no message was left.

You can file a complaint on https://www.donotcall.gov/. It is illegal for them to call with a recorded msg on cell phones and the FCC/FTC takes those complaints seriously. For example I had a problem with American Express calling my cell to try and get me to sign up for something. I provided the agency with detailed information on times of calls and my numerous attempts complete with employee names to get American Express to stop calling me. It took the FCC less than 24 hours to get them to stop. Try the Do Not Call list first that usually works but if they persist call the FTC and/or FCC with detailed information and they will make it stop.  

For those who have made posts stating that the Do Not Call list does not apply when you make a purchase from Best Buy or BrandSmart, you would be wrong unless a warranty was purchased, making a purchase at an electronics store does not give them the right to sell our numbers/names to other companies.  I would suggest making a complaint to your electronics store.  If Warren Tech wants our business they need to advertise in more traditional means, not invade our home and cell phones.

My number is on the Federal Trade Commission's (FTC) national Do Not Call registry.

I have received three calls in the past two days.  I have not answered the calls and no message is left on my voice mail.  But EACH TIME I receive a call from this number I report it to the FTC using their online complaint format.  I provide the date and time of the call.

If more people complained, the FTC would get an idea of how annoying these calls are, and (just maybe) they will do something about it.  You, too, can complain at:

They have been calling for weeks never leave and message. Today the woman tried to talk to my answering machine because I guess that she thought that I picked up-it is a short message. Pretty funny actually. Wish they would just stop calling!

Someone keeps calling from this number about the same time everyday. I never pick up the phone and they never leave a message either. I guess they'll get tire of calling someday. I can only hope.

Well these fools keep calling my house 5 times a week and no message. So now that the kids are out of school they will have no luck getting through. All it says on my caller Id is Texas. My daughter said that she talked to them today at 12:45 and told them to call me back at 7pm. I'll find out who is calling and let all of you know when I get that call. If they do call.

How are they getting our numbers? I did the opt out when I bought my last new vehicle, yet somehow Warrantech gets our personal information!

They call here every single day. Every day, every day, every day. I haven't picked it up becuase i don't know who it is and they never leave a message. I'm answering the next time they call. It always comes up as Euless, TX for me and then the actual number. One thing i can tell you is that if you ask them (provided you get an actual human being on the other end) to put you on their do not call list, they are required by law to do so. It might be worth our while to pick it up next time they call and tell them. Again, provided we get an actual human and not a recording.

I got a new cell phone from my company.  I went to the Sprint Store to download my old phone numbers onto the new phone.  Ever since last Friday, I've seen calls coming from 817-785-6107.  They call several times a day & night, but do not leave a message.  AGAIN, this is a CELL PHONE, not a land-line.  How and who is calling from this Texas phone?

I finally took this call after weeks of ignoring it.  I answered "hello?" and they responded with that confused "hello? who is this?" so I knew it was a spam call.   I decided to make up a fake name and said "This is Christopher" and then they asked for "Bob" (my real name).  I lied and said  "I'm his uncle and legal guardian.  What did he do this time?" and the woman said "I'm sorry" and just hung up.  This was a few days ago and I haven't got a call from them yet, but if they call back again, I'll put on the same act...I guess I need to find more hobbies since this was the high point of the week so far.
