"Lower your auto insurance" spam.  Robocall on my Do-Not-Call-list-registered cell phone.  Called them back to tell them to take my number off their calling list and that I'd reported them to DoNotCall.gov, and the woman hung up on me without taking my information.

I wish I had a piece of electronics that would call people like this every 5 mins, over and over and over.  To let everyone know, selling by phone is not done.  No one buys from people like this, it is always a scam.

Call them and ask the rep for their personal cell phone number and see what they say.

Wanted to give me cheaper auto insurance and asked for my car make and model.  Didn't introduce herself so, I asked for her name and her company's name before I would give her my info just to see what she would tell me.  She got really nasty and hung up on me. Scam!! Not sure what kind of scam.  Who actually gives these people their information?

This was an automatic call.  It said if I wanted to lower my insurance rates to press 1.  So I pressed 1.  A woman came on the line and said, "I'm glad you are asking about lowering your auto rates.  How can I help you?"

I said, "My number is on the Do Not Call list and I am going to report your number for violating the law."  

She hung up SO fast, I didn't have time to say anything further.

Now I'm going to make my report...

This company was so bold as to say "this is a public service announcement".  I thought something had happened at the kids school!  These slim bags!  Called back and they hung up 3 times.
