Got a call from an obvious telemarketing firm looking for an investment.  When I told him that I'd asked to be removed from his list a year ago, he said, "Wow... is it just lack of money?" to which I responded, "No... lack of interest."

He responded with,"Wow... you're in marketing and you don't know what the hell you're doing."

Hilarious.

Faked number.  Supposedly this is some type of investment company, but I really doubt it since "real" financial firms call from "real" numbers and don't Robo-call trolling for dollars.

Plus they offer legitimate investment opportunities and not this no name crap with no track record or hope of ever panning out.

I would like to make a complain about this #. I do not appreciate the calls coming in at 9 and 11 at night. The man was very rude and called me some bad names cause I told him that the boss man was not in. I don't know the name off the company cause he would not give it to me But this is the 818-206-1228.

Looking for investment in making cartoons....actually admitted when I told them they were obviously nuts they didn't know the person they had just ask for at MY number and had purchased my number and the info on the person they were asking for from an information dealer....so sorry

I have my number listed with the Do Not Call Registry and yet these people keep calling but don't leave a message

The National Do Not Call registry is USELESS!!!! I get investment calls, computer repair calls, "survey" calls, etc. CONSTANTLY! I've had our numbers in the registry from day one of its existence! I've sent complaints to the registry, the FBI cyber crimes division, my phone company, all to no avail. It's no use. The honest companies use legal name lists; the scam artists steal names, numbers, and make robo-calls. I'd like to strangle every one of them!

Don't strangle them, Chas. Do something that'll hurt them worse: Sue them! It's easy to sue them under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act and make $500 per call at least, and up to $4,500 per call, depending on your state laws! Complaining about callers like this doesn't work. Suing them does, and it's lucrative! I wish everyone who got this kind of call did the same. Believe me, it's easy, especially if you can sue them in small-claims court, like you can in most states. You just file the suit for, say, $25 and then drag them through the court system. It's fun! If enough of us did that, they sure as s**t wouldn't be making these illegal robocalls.
