An Identity theft ring using this number claiming to be my credit company offering a rate reduction. When I clicked through, they started asking for all my account information, at which point I asked "You called me, don't you have that information already?" at that point they hung up. Clearly a scam. I called the number retrieved from caller ID, a recording of an exasperated young man pleaded for verbal abuse. Either his telephone number had been spoofed, or he is a very good actor.

I just got a call and the caller hung up, so I called the number 8182965051 and basically said that he wanted the caller to call him names for hanging up on you.

This person just called my home office line twice - same thing - doesn't say anything, so I hung up.
Kind of amusing if he does it looking for verbal abuse, what a tool.

4/15/2010.  JUST GOT A CALL FROM 818-296-5051, DID NOT ANSWER AND THEY LEFT NOT MESSAGE.  IT DID COME UP AS A WIRELESS CALLER.  I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO IT WAS.

I received a call from this number today and was also asked to obtain my credit cards and the person I spoke to wanted the toll free number on the back. I asked him what company he was representing and he repeated "Card Services" twice - which was no kind of answer! At no time did I think this was legit so i kind of led him on a bit, but wow, how frightening for those who do not know this type of thing is a fraud. I personally enjoyed telling him I knew it was a scam and hanging up.I called the number back and also  received the message with the guy begging for verbal abuse! Ridiculous! Even more crazy, there was no space to leave a message - I'd have been MORE than happy to leave him a scathing message! haha

I just got the same call, I usually just ignore numbers that don't leave messages bt the number seemed odd so I checked it out.

Just called me.  I didn't answer.  Didn't leave a message.  Glad I didn't call back.

They are  trolling Craigslist for numbers . I posted a Anime costume for sale on a California Craigslist and these scammers called my bf number.

Telemaketer caller wanting personal information(reduce card rate) - not connected with real credit card company - BEWARE- reported to FCC on website

Take a few minutes if you get the same call and go to the FCC website and report it.

If enough folks report them maybe the FCC will go after them.  Worth the chance...

Someone just tried to call me with this number.  If I do not answer a call if I don't recognize the number.  Thought I would Google the number to see what came up and came across this site.  Getting of getting these type of calls and have reported them to the FCC each time.

Me too, same as above.  They also called and said they were trying to reach someone else and that if this was the wrong # call them back to be removed from their list.  uh, don't think so....

They just called me and it seems like it was a machine leaving a msg or something as I only heard the word "receipt" in the VM it left and then it cut off.  Weird

There is a voice recognition thing going on to find this fker.  Someone commented that they were going to find this motherucker and send a bunch of crooks to his house to salughter his family in front of him and burn his house
This motherucker thinks he is smart,. but listen to the tone of his voice.  Typical voice of a puny person who lost his virginity to his mother.

His voice that says leave a message and call him a jerk...if analyzed by a psychaitrist will tell volumes about what a fking loser he is

Hope someone bashes his head with a baseball bat, but then again, he is only some loser with a voice who works for a bigger company, so probably better to go after that company than this sorry loser

Received this call 4/19/2010. Line reports vary on type of line (cell, landline) and service provider (01 communications, Nextel).  I ignored the call, not recognizing the number; called it back to receive the plea for verbal abuse.

All our phones are on the national do not call registry. When I received a breakthrough call, I report it on the website and I usually never receive a call back.

I reported this number to them and have blocked the number on my cell phone using our cell service provider's web service, recommend everyone else do the same.

So I got a call today from the above number.... rather it's a scam or not they can call me back at 719-6406956... your not gonna capture much by a phone call but I like talking to any man that likes to be called names

I did a call back on this number and also got an angry man pleading for verbal abuse laced with rather vulgar language.

Just got the call and i missed it. Called back and was like....WTF? so i called a second time, same thing.
i thought it was a friend messing with me, but now i see its not. lol
