- Caller: onlly aurora, ca. comes up on phonel
- N. Newman| 1 replyGot this call twice now, I started to get pushy and asking them questions. The IRS will NOT call you, they will send you a letter with a case number and contact information, they do not cold-call you with a robotic voice and threaten legal action like this groups is doing. Be cautious. Also report this number to: https://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml
- Caller: Claimed IRS
- Call type: Debt collector
- vv replies to N. NewmanMan supposedly from IRS tried to scam me for 3789.00 said I had to pay in an hour.
- Stephanie| 1 replyI continue to receive calls daily from this number from Agoura Hills, Ca from the "IRS officer Nikki Johnson".

That is what was on my answering machine. I called the scam artist and the indian on the phone said he was gonna have me arrested if I didn't send him a pre-paid visa card. Told him to come get me!!!!! I'll give him a visa card....and my foot up his ass!!!! FU*K YOU!!!!!!!- Caller: Fake IRS

- Rick replies to CamI got that message today 6/24.."Officer Nikki Johnson ......) in this automated voice.....818 area code is the San Fernando Valley (CA), I live in the east coast, have always paid my taxes...This has SCAM written all over it...
Besides, if you have a REAL issue with the REAL IRS you will get a letter(s), not an automated call... - L. BryantReceived and automated voice mail message stating, "this is the criminal dept of the IRS. Please do not disregard this call, etc." I called the number, 818-483-0974, and it rang until it timed out. Whenever you call the "real IRS", your call is automatically answered by the automated answering service. I'm sure it's a scam. Be careful out there everyone.
- r yumangI got a call from a Mr. Hugh Poster he claimed that he is a IRS Senior Officer that I need to make a payment of 10K or I will be arrested in two hours and I must go to the bank and get the money and instructed me not to hang up or else I will be in jail the minute I hang up. He does not want me to call anyone and he said he is monitoring any calls if I call anyone to tell them about it. But my daughter told me hang up and report the number. They try to call me 5 times and still leaving me a treat that I will be arrested.

- LCI just got a call from the same Indian guy and he was very rude. I read this forum before calling so when he answered, he asked my name. I didn't give my name, but asked if this is the real IRS. He was like "is there a fake IRS" and I told him that this sounded like a scam. He said that it is the real IRS and they were trying to find some guy named Gary so it would be easier to catch "you dogs". I kid you not, he called me a dog. It has to be a scam, no professional would say that.
