Caller had heavy Indian accent, claimed to be from Microsoft, wanted to "fix a problem with my computer", yeah, right!
He denied being a scammer, but this is a well known scam going around.

I spoke to this supposed "tech guy" twice  telling me there is NO issue with my windows computer NOW but want to fix  told me to sign on now    HA HA HA    
 he says everytime you sign online you download "INFECTIONS"  <~  there's a CLUE !!  
questioned the "infection" reference and he kept trying to out talk me     finally told him he is FOS  and will report this call to microsoft  
HANG UP  !  

received three phone calls from this number.  received another one today.

They've been calling me 5-6 times per day the past few days.  Tired of it, I answered today and played along to see what they were up to.  Total scam!  Trying to gain access to your computer.  I believe it to be the same scam reported here two years ago!  http://www.computerworld.com/article/2486682/ ... curity-org.html

Don't fall for it!

Received calls twice today.  Says my computer is downloading viruses.  Wanted me to turn computer on and check it out my self.  He was trying to tell me what to do. But I wasn't doing it. Told him I was going to report him and hung up. Don't know what his game was but now I'm afraid he might get into my computer somehow. Can he?

Caller with indian accent said he was calling from Technical ......  I cut him off and said to him to take me off his calling list.  Probably someone claiming they are from Microsoft as listed elsewhere on this page

After numerous calls from this number I answered and asked them to stop calling my number.  A male with an accent then said "[***] you [***]" and then hung up on me.  

I'm receiving multiple calls from this number, but I screen all my calls. My number is 937-433-8602

A man with a heavy Indian accent called today. He was telling me about lowering my electricity bill. He said he worked for NSTAR. He was very rude and condescending and hung up on me when I said I wasn't interested! I have never been treated like this by a telemarketer so I was going to file a complaint, but this number when called back is just  a busy signal.

I got two calls from this guy today.  The first I didn't answer and he didn't leave a message.  The next time, just a few minutes ago, he called again.   He gave me a long spiel about who he was and how much he wanted to help me.  He told me how many viruses I got every time I got on the internet, then he explained how he was going to solve my problem.  He asked if I was at my computer now and when I said no, he asked me to turn it on.  I told him I couldn't because I didn't have one.  Then he said it must be my wife's computer and I told him she didn't have one either (she doesn't).  He said according to his data base, someone in the family has a computer and when I told him I live alone, he gave up.  I wasted a good 10 minutes of his time - now I feel better.

Calls all day but nobody says anything or leaves a message. Blocked it but they still keep calling.

I get multiple calls each day from 818-493-1971, so it seems like every 1/2 hour.  When I answered one of the calls.  The man said that there is an issue with my Windows and asked me to log in immediately.  I told him to remove my number from the list that I didn't have any problems. He said to me "I will not"  I then hung up. If he was a professional I thought it was very unprofessional to say that to me.

I receive calls from 818-493-1971 on an average of 2-3 times per day.  This guy has a heavy accent and claims he can assist with viruses when I sign on.  I told him he was not even professional enough to give me a company name, and not to call back. RIGHT. I also let him know people know a scam when they hear one and mentioned the FBI.  SO SICK OF THESE CALLS

Keep calling leaving no message.  Once spoke to a male with heavy indian accent who told me my computer was infected.  When I replied, really??  Tell me more.... He hung up.

Guy from india keeps calling even though i tell them to stop. 7 times a day for the last 4 days straight! Today i told him i was going to file harassment charges and he told me they would file against me because i wont listen to them tell me whats wrong with my computer. I told him I'll wait outside for the cops.

I think that the Microsoft scamers are back with several calls a day and no messages.
I never answer the unknowns.

This number has called me at least 5 times a day for the past week. Told me that they were going to turn my computer off.has since called me 3 more times today after I hung up on him.

I am getting phone calls daily from this number. Finally answered and it is a man with a foreign accent.  Hung up on him.  I am listed on the do not call registry, it is fustrating to continue to get these calls.  Now I even receive these calls on my cell phone as well.

Guy with Indian accent called four times yesterday saying the same thing as noted above - "I have a virus on my computer and I needed to log on while he was on the phone".  I asked for his company's name; he said "Tech 24/7" - yeah, right - NOT!!!  I asked for his name; he said "Sam Rogers" - yeah, right - a guy with a heavy Indian accent with such an American name - NOT!!!  Please don't anyone fall for this scam!!!!  I am sure instead of getting rid of a virus on your computer, he would end up infecting your computer with a virus!   DON'T BE FOOLED!!!!
