Called an acquaintance (85 year old widow) and made threats of legal action if call not returned immediately by her or her lawyer.  Sounded like a recorded message.  Did not name company or nature of claim.  Left name "Brian John".  Has also called from 818-969-9387 and left the 0139 number as the call back.

Someone named Carl Cooper called me, and made threats to take legal action if I did not make a payment of seven hundred dollars within two hours. Cooper claimed to be an Attorney with the State of California. Cooper also stated that since I was not going to make the payment, I would be terminated from my job, then I would be arrested. After being arrested they would take me to California for Court. Carl was very rude over the phone and told me not to call back unless I had my attorney present. Cooper also mentioned to me that I had three criminal charges against my name and social security number. Which is odd because I just got a background check done, and my background is squeaky clean.

I received a very disturbing phone call, that is very similar to that of your friends phone cal. The person that called me was Carl Cooper, then when I got in from work I got a call from Brian John. Brian told me not to ignore the call, and that if I did ignore the call he could only wish me good luck as the situation unfolded on me. Then someone with the exact same accent, talking the exact same pace called with the last name of Beackerson and said the very same thing that Brian said.

Call me everyday saying I owe money and there Is a warrant out for my arrest they call and harrass Mr every day I wish they would stop calling me they have my name and social security no. I need identity protection

Lady named Jessica Brown called and said I needed to call Carl Cooper about a lawsuit and 3 civil suits. She said she was a police officer and Mr Cooper was a lawyer, but the phone number she gave me to call him back on was the same one she had just called me from. Then got a call from Brian saying the exact same thing.

Someone called saying i  owed them money and they had my info sayi.g they were issuing a warrant for my arrest and i need to send them 300 dallors

They called to my new job and claim to be a Financial Crime Investigation.  This was an emergency call.

i got called from this number the man said his name was thomas and if i didnt give him money he would hurt me and my family called me dirty names18185720139and had a forign accsent

I just got a call saying that federal agents were on their way to arrest me and that if I paid $99 on the phone that they would cancel. If not, I would owe $3800. They said they were from an attorney's office  and were representing the US Federal Office of Consumer Affairs, and that they are the parent company for all the banks, credit card companies, etc. I have reported them to the FTC and am looking into what other agencies need to know this.

I have received over 100 calls withing the course of 1 month cell & work number, the caller saying I have a lawsuit pending against me becaused of a loan that I never repaid back, which is a lie, I never received a loan with these people. These people are very rude, use extreme foul language and kept hanging the phone up every time I call back. These people are scammers and trying to get money from whoever falls for it. These people get your info from the info you put in online to receive a loan or any thing else, so please be carefulbecauseuz your info is never safe when its online!!!!!!

i got a threaten recording about I had to call back or my attorney what is this ?

They started calling me 3 days ago.  Since I did not know the number, I let it go to voicemail.  This morning I answered the phone and some guy with a thick accent stated that I have an investigate with my SS# and that I needed a lawyer.  I told him that this sounds like a scam.  He stated that I needed to call back and speak with some lawyer.

I just got a call from a different number saying the same thing the we're crime investigation or something  and I had 3criminal charges against my name n  social when I ask where he said in NJ I said that's nice I don't live in that state n he got rude like I wasn't understanding him when I asked what kind of charges he said he couldn't tell me that I had to call Carl Cooper my attorney and proceeded to give me this # 818-538-7971 witch was the same one he called me from when I called back all I got was a been n nothing more
