"This message is intended for (name). Hi, this is John Snider with the Department office. I was trying to reach you in regards to a very important to us. This is a legal notification for (name) in regards to the enforcement action started on your name. My number is 818-627-0156. Again my number is 818-627-0156. If for any reason you are too busy to call back, I suggest you have your retained attorney to do it for you, or you might end up in a legal mess. I hope you'll take this and call me back. This is John Snider with the Department of Legal Affairs. Looking forward to speak to you until then you have a blessed day. Goodbye."

This is total scam! Don't confirm your name or phone number or give then your attorney name or phone number!

On Nov. 26, I received a call from John Snyder claiming to be from The Department of Legal Affairs, phone number 818-627-0156.  He left a voice message in a very heavy Indian accent, almost identical to the one Barry received.  When I called the number back, there was a message from a woman with a similar accent, the first part of which I could not understand, but ending with "leave us a message."  I was quite alarmed until I began investigating online.  People doing this type of calling need to be apprehended and punished!

On 12/01/2014 I got a call asking for Jacquline or something, the heavy Indian accent. His "name" was "Jack Lewis". I hung up the first time. He called back and said he was with the Dept of Treasury and they were doing an investigation. This time he asked for someone that I knew. I said give me your number and I'll call you back, he gave me 818-627-0156. I'm pissed and wish I would have looked to see if there was a number on the phone.
