My home phone number has been on the National Do Not Call Registry for several years.  Someone at (818) 662-4532 (in Burbank, CA) called me a few months ago wanting to know if I needed remodeling done.  I told them "no" and to "take me off their call list" and to "never call me again".  They just called again (1/10/2014).  She pretends to know me but when she starts her sales pitch about remodeling, I realized it was another phone solicitation and told her that I had already demanded that they take me off their call list and to not call me.  But she just kept talking, reading her sales pitch over what I was saying, refused to pause to listen to me, until I had no choice but to hang.  I just filed a complaint with the National Do Call Registry.  Hopefully others will do as well.
