I did actually talk these mfers.  I was so angry after getting so many calls from them I went off.  Threw out some other expletives and told the guy to get a real job and then he hung up on me.  I am so sick of this.  I have a privat4e number and yet they still call me constantly.

Isnt there a legal right that protects us against these scammers or cant we all gather together to sue this company?

I received a call from this number as well and young man with and Indian accent asked for me by first name.  I asked who was calling and he went into his pitch right away after saying he was calling from American Financial.  He asked if I had a certain amount of outstanding debt and when I said I don't give out that information he said F--- You and hung up!  That is beyond rude!  Called the number back and it says it is disconnected or no longer in service.  NEVER EVER give out any personal information to anyone you do not know-on the phone or in person.  Too many scams out there and too many unsuspecting people getting hurt!

Just spoke with a guy from this # claiming to be able to lower my credit card debt. When I told him I would not tell him about my debt. He began to yell F You, F You, 6 or 7 times. Told him he was a loser, and hung up on him!!!

Call from American Financial. 1st person is a "qualifier" to see how much debt you have. If you have enough they pass you to a "debt specialist" who tries to sign you up. I told qualifier I had 30 debt and she assumed $30,000. She passed me to a specialist who gave me their sales pitch. I finally asked him why they keep calling me since I don't have any debt. Told him that's what I told her. Hee hee!!! He was mad and hollered at her. She came on line and I told her to stop calling me or I would do same thing again and get her in trouble again.  Didn't hear from them for two months.

They just called my husband, mispronouncing his name in a major way when they asked for him on his cell.  Then the guy introduced himself as "Sean", with his very thick accent, and began to inform my husband that they were viewing his impeccable payment standing with his "credit cards".  Of course, my husband only has one, and does not have an impeccable payment history due to the current economy.  He told them to remove him from their lists and they hung up on him.  It's sad that there's nothing that can be done about these fools.

They usually call my cell phone during lunch.  There is a lot of noise in the background and they cannot hear well.  If I'm not doing anything, I try to keep them on the line as long as possible.  You gotta love unlimited minutes!

Just got a call from this number on my cell.  They told me I was in all kind of debt (which I am not) and that they need to help me.
They guy spoke with Indian accent.  When I told him that my debts are none of his business, he got very nasty with me.  He said it was his business, challenged me (Do you know who you are talking to) and got very verbally abusive.  The funny part was, there was a clearly speaking English person that I could hear in the background telling him to hang up.
This needs to be investigated by the govt. immediately.

These people call me several times a day and night every day since Dec. 3!  How do I get them to stop???

She  had Called me on my Cell Phone  on 12/14/2009 at 3.28 pm and she had asked me  about my debt amount and aksed me that she has a so many programmes to offer and she will reduce the intrest rate and she will bring the total  amount of debt  down by 60% of the total debt.

Also she had asked me about my credit Score but I did not mentioned any Number about any accounts or debt.

The she had asked me about my location and treid to make sure about my location New jersey OR Michigan ?

Since I was not responding her and was not answering her on her spesific questiones but I had asked her web site and asked her contact number ? She disconnected phone call .........

Receiving calls fromt his nubmer on my cell phone everday.  No messages.

Called twice in two days after I insisted they take my number off of their list. Tried calling the number back and got a recording both time "out of service" . Why hasn't this been figured out?

got a call and was able to keep them on the line for 20 min before they got mad enough to hang up. that is the game i play is to see how long i can keep them on the phone so they wont bother other people.

Got a call from a dude witha heavy Indian accent. He said his name was "Bob" and that I am paying to high of an interest rate on my CCs. "Right?" When I asked to speak to his supervisor he told me he was a supervisor. When I asked again to speak to his supervisor he told me, no joking, "My nane is Bob Supervisor."

I was laughing so hard he hung up on me.

These people are looking for CC numbers and personal info.

Last time I dealt with them it took me 4 weeks to get them to stop calling me. They only stopped because I threatend "Chad" with malicious bodily harm and most likely imminent death if he did not take me off their call list. He told me in return, "You don't have to be rude sir."

I haven't begun to get rude.

i got a call at 7:43 in the morning. i asked thee guy what company he said Northstar financial. the website is www.northstar-financial.com. If you are extremely rude to them like they will be to you, they will take it like doormats. I told him that if the company calls me again there will be a lawsuit. I haven't had a credit card in 5 years and have never filed bankruptcy. they are rude so return the favor. it works.

wow, i can't believe that so many other people are getting calls from this number. i live in LA and it's an LA area code, just thought it was some jealous girl calling from my ex's phone or something...

they call me a few times a week around 9am in the morning. today i never answer unknown numbers, but they never leave a number so today i was too curious to not answer. when i did, they hung up! i tried calling back but i get the message "this number has been disconnected." I tried texting, but i got a message saying that it was a land line.

Because I've never gotten a message and they hung up when I did answer, I have no idea who it was and can't verify that it was a credit card company.

This is a scam. The key to recognizing the number is (at least on my phone) there is a "+" at the begining of the number. This indicates an overseas call. Do not answer it.

Yesterday I received a call from this same number and they left no message.  I tried to call the number back and I received a message that the number was disconnected and no longer in service.  Today, I answered a call from the same number and the person had a very thick accent.  I let her state where she was calling from and why, then I stopped her and asked for her name.  She stated Tracy Parker, I verified that she was calling from "American Financial," then asked for a return number to verify.  She hung up VERY quickly!  This is a scam!!!
