Recorded message. Didn't listen to any of it. The phone number said 'If you received a telemarketing call, you are on our customer list. Leave your phone number and it will be removed.' Which tactic, I figure is fishing for valid numbers.
Listened to the message- trying to get us to accept visa and master card in our business. this is the 3rd time i have requested to have our number taken off their calling list. the only thing i had to do was "push 8" and was supposed to be removed immediately.
recorded sales call. I called them back and got a recording that I was on their sales list and hit '1' to remove my number. Totally annoying. Why doesn't "do not call" list work?
I am also listed on National Do Not Call list, but I am receiving dozens of calls daily on all of my phones (cell, office, Vonage, and home lines) that are from either out-of-state, toll-free numbers: 800), (877), (866).
Each time I answer these calls, the call is immediately disconnected. They never leave a message. These bogus incoming calls are costing me money on my cell phone and chipping away at my total minutes package. (I wonder if it is Sprint trying to run up my bill? - ha!)
A call from (818) 870 8169 [California]just came in on my cell phone - same situation, it was a hang-up call. If I thought a live human being was on the line, I'd blast a loud air horn, but all of these calls seem to be automated.
If you try to call any of these bogus phone numbers back, you get an error message that "YOUR CALL CANNOT BE COMPLETED AS DIALED".
