Received texts costing £4.50 from 82288 would not cancel until called voda to now block all premium nos.  May have responded to what appeared to be a legit comp on free postcode lotterry which I thought was a a safe site.

I have bitten the bullet and rang the number in the text messages that I have been receiving from (82288). I had not rung before as I thought it was a fishing email only to find that some how my phone number had been registered to that company, PANTHER play site which has taken money from me. I have not authorised any such payments, I have not knowingly subscribed to the service, I would not subscribe to any service like Panther Play

Big scam.  i had the same problem.  you can phone panther play (this is the company sending you the text)  speak to customer service and ask them to cancel it.  i did not find the guy on the other side  very friendly and he insisted that i signed the terms and conditions.  (and I did not)  he said he would cancel it but i was still not happy.  i then phone 0300 303 0020  i spoke to Nadia, a lovely lady.  i made a claim and they are investing the company. She also ensured me that they will be in contact with the company and inform me of the outcome.  lynn
