keep getting text from 83023 and £3 disappears from credit every month

I received txts in total costing me more that £20 (taken from my pay-as-you-go account); only realized when my account kept dropping inexplicably.  Apparently the company from whom the 83023 txts originate is Tonestore, a subsidiary of 2ergo.  Telephone 2ergo on 0161 874 4222 and hassle them like mad.  I've been promised £30 refund and compensation (although they say it takes 28 days to process).  The more people who complain the better - THIS IS THEFT!

I receive a txt from 83023 at the same time every week. I did not realise until i recently looked at my bill that i was being charged for these. This is such a scam and when trying to call the number mentioned many times below my call went straight to an answer machine evey time. I have texted stop and if this does not work i will be reporting this to Watchdog and taking further legal action.

this time therer is no one on the end of the phone number just a recored message for you to submit your mobile to stop texts, i hope it works no idea how this has come about...

I had 8 pounds in my phone last night and now its all gone.I have called O2 and they said to call them on 08718719265 BUT DO NOT CALL THIS NUMBER as there would be no answer.I have called this number 2 times and still there is no answer.I can't believe that no one had the sense to call the police.

Please stop sending me these text messages i have text stop and remove 6 times and they are still sending me texts messages and they are taking £3.00 at a time, all together they have taken £21.00, when i top up,even if i don't top up when i switch my phone back on they have text me and started taking money again when i top back up.

this morning  on the 05.06 09  i got 11 text message,s  from 83023 .. telling me enjoy textin .. then i looked  it took from my phone
£9.00  i then tyred to call this number i got though  but was just telling you what there was on offer  who you need to speak  to  the end of the phone call it said i want want to speak to a live person  then phone a number i didnt have a pen   that was end of the call .. then i looked   at my charg  for this call it took £2.00 im still no better off..just £11.00 worcer off  i need to stop this from  happerning again  HELP .......

can you belive  again   the credit has been taken thats all my credit from my phone  i dont want to put anymore on  cus this company will just take it .. they have taken now £12.00  and iv got nothing for it .. i phoned them  that was 2 £   so now im going to get the number blocked i hope this will work .. this is no longer funny  its a pain  i the back side  for everyone ...

I was not charged for this msg.I will not text STOP back to them as I am sure this will be like replying to email spam and simply validates the number. This is VERY annoying so I have set my phone to screeen these messages and put in a spam folder.

I've just received the exact same message as teresa just a couple of minutes ago. I can confirm that I was not charged for this text either. It might be because I only have £1.25 credit at the moment, I don't know.

I just received it too!! I best not get bloody charged!! I never give my mobile number out to anyone?
