    This is a legitimate number for the Monterey County Revenue Division, HOWEVER, they keep leaving messages and never address us by name. A woman with an accent says, "We have information for you. Call us back at 831-755-5042." I believe this is a "spoofed" number (the number that shows up on the caller ID belongs to the real business, but I doubt that is the number they are actually calling from. If they were legit, they would know the names of the people they were calling. Most government agencies, if they need to get in touch with you, will send an actual letter through the mail.
